Raising public awareness through a monthly newsletter,website,conferences,partnership working,training & networks.

Based in North East offering support groups, holiday play groups, events. Giving families a safe place to meet and enable families living outside the local area an opportunity to connect with others in similar situations. DADLG provides a wide range of sports, social and leisure opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Ryhope Community Association aims to work with members of the local community to identify need, subsequently plans and delivers a broad range of social, leisure and educational opportunities that address the identified needs and promote community cohesion thereby enhancing the quality of life for local residents.

Mental health workshop- we run various mental health workshop to increase the awareness of mental health issues and discuss on this topic.3. Family Fun Day in Bank Holidays4. Oxclose Church (AKA Hope Family Church) is the local parish church for Oxclose, Washington, Tyne and Wear. We serve the people of our community through the operations of a local church, through caring for the spiritual, emotional, and practical wellbeing of all in our community.

The charity provides community centre facilites to the local community and beyond. Room space is hired out to various organisations. Amongst other things it is used as a polling station, councillor meetings, resident groups, blood donor site. It was also used as a base for victims who were caught up in local flooding within the area last year. It depends on an annual Local Government grant.
