Newcastle Frontrunners is a running club catering to the north-east of England, and based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are part of the International Frontrunners network, a family of running clubs which are inclusive and welcome all sections of the community. We aim to reduce homophobia and improve Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT plus) communities participation in sport and running.

We empower Refugee and Asylum Seeker community activists and mobilisers to turn their ideas to support their communities into practical action. And we unite the region's Refugee led Community Organisations (RCOs) in collective action to produce their Collective Voice so it can influence the development of evidence based policy and practice around Asylum, Integration and Equality.

Scout Group providing training - activities - camping and games for young people

Washington Boxing Club is a community based Boxing Club that teaches/supports boxing and fitness.We have male and female teams with both junior and senior team members. We participate in competitions and championships throughout the country and also abroad.We help support Mental Health.

Cappella Newcastle (founded in 1960 as Cappella Novocastriensis), specialises in singing music for worship and often sings unaccompanied. Cappella sings in churches throughout the North East, as well as giving several major concerts each year. The repertoire is varied and ambitious, ranging from English renaissance composers to contemporary works by Whitacre and Jackson.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUPLS OF SOUTHRIDGE FIRST SCHOOL, WHITLEY BAY.

Offers opportunities for Artists of all levels to display and sell own work to the general public.The centre offers art tuition to the general public. It also passes on information relevant for the visitor and tourist visiting Northumberland.

The presentation of choral music ( 16th - 21st century) with invited professional soloists and orchestras for the benefit of the people of the area to the highest standard our finances will allow.

Providing facilities for community activities

Administer welfare cases through small funds and operates as an enabling charity at Bede Tower, Burdon Road, Sunderland, SR2 7EA.

Working with people in the local community to develop and further their skills through various activities - Music lessons, Articultural Courses, Family Nurturing Courses.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Castletown and the neighboured. A NON-POLITICAL, NON-SECTARIAN CHOIR WHO SEEK TO INTEREST THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF SINGING BY PARTICIPATING AND ASSISTING IN CONCERTS AND SIMILAR ACTIVITIES. THROUGH THESE ACTIVITIES THE CHOIR IS ALSO ABLE, ON OCCASIONS, TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO A NUMBER OF LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for coaching and training in the sport of boxing and to offer competitive opportunities in boxing.

Classes, both teaching and social, throughout the area for all ages and abilities. Competative festival annually. Demonstration team available. Many social functions. Teachers available for schools, clubs & societies who would like taster sessions or classes.

To carry out the wishes of the late Mrs Joyce Brewis, in supporting charitable causes as the trustees, in their absolute discretion, see fit. In addition to her will creating the trust, Mrs Brewis expressed her wish that the trustees consider supporting 10 specific charities, including:Cancer Research UKBritish Heart FoundationThe Save the Children FundThe Sir Bobby Robson Foundation

Organising raffles, fetes, discos etc for our Primary School and inviting staff from school to suggest ways to spend the profits. All money raised being used to support East Herrington Primary School.

To advance the education of the public in the art of Brass Band music and to further the development of public appreciation of said art by the presentation of concerts and such similar activities and to encourage the musical education of all ages by the provision of tuition and training facilities.

Over the next ten years the Foundation's strategy will be to focus primarily on increasing access to enterprise for young people in the North East of England through the provision of funding for projects and activities that support young people to consider self-employment as a realistic career option.

To promote and complete the Victoria County History of Durham and to assist and support the editor/team leader and the assistant editor/ team researcher to this end; to raise public awareness of local and regional history; to complete a history of Teesdale now in progress and to secure backing and finance for new areas of study in the future.

Scout GroupThe Group's aim, in common with that of the Scout Association, is the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people. The Group meets the Charity Commission's public benefit criteria under both the advancement of education and the advancement of citizenship or community development headings.

The charity's objects are to provide or assist in the provision of activities for recreation, education and leisure time occupation for disabled people, with the purpose of furthering their abilities, experiences and quality of life.

We will rescue abandoned, lost and unwanted ferrets from within Sunderland and South Tyneside.We will rehabilitate and care for these ferrets until they are able to be rehomed.We will carry out activities to find new homes for the ferrets in rescue and provide backup support for thelifetime of the ferret.We will promote neutering of pet ferrets to reduce the number of unwanted litters.
