North East Mission aims to see an end to homelessness in the North East.Currently NEM runs Durham Winter Night Shelter.

The education of the public by promotion, support and assistance, and improvement of the museums in Sunderland administered by Sunderland City Council.

OUR PRINCIPLE AIM IS TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WHO WISH TO ENJOY OUTDOOR EDUCATION. WE PROVIDE ACCESS AND SUPPORT FOR THOSE WITH A DISABILITY AND PROVIDE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE PLACES AT DERWENT HILL FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. OUR MAIN SOURCE OF FUNDS IS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND BURSARIES.

Benevolence purposes for the benefit of the poor.

Provide meeting place for former RN personel and support when required visiting during periods of ill health. General comradeship.In line with R.N.A Headquarters

1) To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of Northumbria;2) To advance the education of the public on matters concerned with the heritage, protection, conservation and enhancement of historic parks, gardens and other designated landscapes of Northumbria

The main objectives for the year were to hold the property known as Bethany Christian Centre and to maintain sufficient funds to enable major repairs required to the building in the next five years to be carried out.

Raising monies by holding events such as coffee mornings, sponsored events etc.

Our charitys aims are to enable spinaly injured wheelchair users to come to terms with there injuries through sport and socialisation, wheelcair users without spinal injuries are welcome to join our club.

To disburse funding for the promotion of musical development in the North of England

We are a regional arts development organisation promoting social inclusion, community cohesion, health and wellbeing through the combined arts practises. Our aim is to create a healthier community across North east through education, participation, promotions. We work with prople from age 5- 80 through high quality artistic programme of diverse culture and heritage.

Supporting the school in fundraising activities to promote the holistic development of children and encourage/engage parents and the wider community as partners.

We endeavour to alleviate poverty and deprivation within older communities and change negative attitudes of older people. We work in partnership with similar organisations to improve government and local authority policy, including Health Care, Housing, Social Deprivation and Personal Financial issues. Our elderly volunteers give their time and energy and do all the work. We have no employees.

The trust makes grants to individuals to provide footwear and relieve poverty for school age children.

The charity collects its investment income and distributes monies to charities and institution in accordance with its objects.

Our fundraising activities/events are organised with a few priorities, these being:-- to support the teaching and learning of children at Hylton Castle Primary School- engaging with our Community and providing events for the wider community- to give children wider opportunities outside of school.We mainly operate out of Hylton Castle Primary School.

To advance the education of the children, young people, and adults involved with Brass Bands and develop the art of Brass Band music-making for the benefit of the general public, in particular within the counties of North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Cleveland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear, and Northumberland, by the provision and support of training and public performance of a range of works

The Carl Chapman Trust is a Charity that provides grants to individuals involved in the sport of Gymnastics in the North East. A Grant application form with guidance notes and details are available on the City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy website.

OUR GROUP UNDERTAKES VOLUNTARY WORK TO IMPROVE AND CONSERVE THE PRESENT BRIDLEWAY NETWORK.WE WORK WITH OTHER BRIDLEWAY USERS, LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND LANDOWNERS TO IDENTIFY & PROVIDE ¶MISSING LINKS÷ WHERE THE NETWORK IS FRAGMENTED. WE ORGANISE 10 MILE PLEASURE RIDES TO PROMOTE BRIDLEWAY AWARENESS. ISSUE QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS. GIVE ADVICE & INFORMATION TO MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

To provide social activities for families with children who may have special educational or additional learning needs. To raise funds to provide resources and activities to enhance their education and extended activities beyond school. To encourage and support the involvement of parents, carers, friends and families.
