The Charity is used to supplement the work undertaken in school to support the learning, care and development of Sunningdale pupils. Under the new Extended Schools initiative, Sunningdale is also working with children other than those who attend the school and with vulnerable young people and older people again eg some elderly residents in our local community.

The objects of NHSN CIO are the encouragement by every means of the study of natural history in all its branches and the conservation of the natural environment in north east England including its geology, flora and fauna

We work with local authorities, agencies, and other voluntary organisations to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupations. The objective of this being to improve the conditions of life for the community of Sunderland North and the City in general. Principal concern is the development of Hylton Castle for community use.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation. To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need. Advance public education, in particular physical education, with a focus on children and young people with a view to helping children and young people develop and grow to maturity as members of society.

The Society provides, as a public benefit, an archive facility for the city of Sunderland which is made available to the general public on a weekly basis at its main location and has a permanent online presence.

The Jean Brown Dementia raises money in the North East of England which we then look into areas in our community to help with Dementia development , research and care. we plan to hold 1 big ticket event each year and also do little things throughout the year such as raffles and bonus balls to generate income.

KAIROS Companions in Grief is A Bereavement Counselling & Support Service for Bereaved People throughout Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and County Durham. It offers (a) a specialist one-to-one bereavement counselling service; (b) specialist therapeutic bereavement support groups; (c) organisational bereavement advisory service; (d) from 2013, counselling service for bereaved children.

Slow Shopping's aims are to relieve people in the UK & overseas who live with mental &/or physical disabilities by the provision of training and other support services to enable them to shop, visit or attend a variety of settings in order to enhance their experience by maintaining and developing their independence, confidence and dignity. It also collaborates in research in this field.

The provision of anti-retroviral and/or other medical treatments.The provision or assistance to provide projects to grow nutritious food, to develop initiatives to involve local communities for such provision.Support for members of the community affected directly or indirectly through HIV/Aids so as to improve their conditions of life and the relief in case of financial distress of dependants.
