FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR SCHOOL COMMUNITY

To educate the general public in bee-keeping.

Cricket club providing facilities and coaching and arranging matches. Brook is in Surrey south of Guildford and Godalming. The club plays in the I'Anson league on Saturdays and plays club cricket on Sundays. There is a juniors' section providing coaching and match practice for children aged 6 to 13.

Choral singing; rehearsing weekly, and concerts are put on two to three times per year for the local community. Social events held within and by the choir to help maintain choir funds.

Kingston Philharmonia is an amateur orchestra which normally performs three concerts a year, including a wide variety of music. It brings classical music into the heart of the community; gives local musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform a broad classical repertoire; and provides an accessible and affordable alternative to the big London concert venues for local people.

The current activity of the charity is to support Leatherhead Hospital by the donation of equipment as required, also to provide funds to preserve and enhance the fabric of the buildings in which the hospital is housed.To provide funds to enable hospital staff to attend medical conferences etc.

The Charity owns and operates the Village Hall for the benefit of the local community

Promoting community participation in healthy recreation through paddle sports in the Borough of Richmond on Thames and surrounding areas

To promote the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of the inhabitants of Woking and surrounding areas, by in particular by the provision of pastoral care and the formation of Street Angels Programme for the benefit of the local community of Woking.To support, care and treat persons in need who are homeless and are suffering as an expression of Christian faith

To educate and train the general public with the keeping of Vintage Vehicles whether they be motor driven or steam, traction engines, and all items of machinery, to include agriculture, horticulture and stationary engines, motor cycles, pedal cycles and all modes of transport.

Fundraising for school through arranging school fairs, quiz nights and other social events. Funds raised are then used to support the school in paying for visiting authors, puppeteers, purchasing books, library equipment and specific school projects

The purpose of the funds is to provide funds to assist children to study various subjects at school, and for some of the older funds, to aid school pupils who have gone on to university. Funds are also provided for prizes in various subjects.

Raising funds that can support and enrich the education of the children at Westfield Primary School - we aim to provide extra resources for the children, improve the school environment as well as run extracurricular activities such as music, art and sport.

Professional counselling service, for those with need for counselling, but not necessarily able to pay commercial counselling rates.The counsellors, all qualified, offer their services free of charge. Clients are invited to contribute to other running costs as they feel able.

To advance the education of the pupils at Manor Mead School which is a school for children with severe learning difficulties by providing facilities and equipment which is not funded by the local education authority.

The main purpose of the group is to give observed runs (ORs) to associate members in order that those members pass the IAM Motorcycle test.

Our aims centre around service before self, both globally and in local community. We provide practical response to world disasters, floods, earthquakes. Sending shelterboxes, aquaboxes and relief supplies. The End Polio now campaigns worlds largest public health project costing $1bn fund, fundraising at Christmas collections from public & race nights to support local charities & good causes.

Supporting parents & friends of the school - presence during school events & being a source of information for peopleOrganising events to raise money for the school - fetes, discos, mothers & fathers day wraps, cake sales among other things.Maintaining a wishlist and deciding what we should spend the funds on - how the wishes can benefit the children/staff/school as a whole.

Provide spiritual and humanitarian support to the church members and their families and surrounding community

The Godalming Community Gospel Choir (GCGC) share modern and traditional Gospel music at events throughout the year. We hold several concerts in churches in and around Godalming and offer our services to sing at charity events, weddings and funerals. Our members enjoy three terms of rehearsals, led by a Musical Director and accompanied live by a keyboard player, for a termly fee.

The provision and maintenance of a community hub for the benefit of people who live, work and study in Egham and the surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for: (a) meetings, lectures and classes, and (b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupations, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community.
