The charity operates a village hall which is used as a place of recreation, amusement and social intercourse by the inhabitants of Walton on the Hill and the surrounding district.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people {particularly but not exclusively men aged 18 or over}, within Dorking and the surrounding area, from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society through the provision of facilities in which they can meet jointly or individually.

We provide a useful service for all members of the community.

The objectives of the Society are to collect, index, co-ordinate, publish and make accessible, in the interests of genealogy, any documents or records relating to the ancient County of Surrey; to promote the preservation of such documents or records; to encourage the study of genealogy; to assist educationally, by lectures or otherwise, in record research. The North Downs Community Orchestra is a fun, friendly amateur groups open to musicians in the North Downs Area. We do not ask for grades or hold auditions and aim to be welcoming, inclusive and affordable. Our purpose is to enjoy making music together. We strive to provide instrumental parts for all instruments and abilities and support members with musical development.

The Church has continued to welcome visitors to its Sunday Services and Wednesday testimony meetings, to teach children in its Sunday School, and to maintain a Reading Room open to the public weekly. The Church has also held a lecture for the public.

. Website completed. Memorandum of Understanding completed with partner charity FUDUT in Cali,Colombia . First funds sent to partner charity to commence 6 month training course for 30 underprivileged youths in IT and accountancy skills. Students graduated from theory to practical stage of course. Mid term report compiled and presented to donors.

Financial assistance in necessitous circumstances for completion of education for Gownboys (being a person in Gownboys house at Charterhouse School, Godalming); Carthusians (being persons at Charterhouse School, Godalming); and children of Old Gownboys. Relieving the poverty of any Old Carthusian or the widow, children and dependants of a deceased Old Carthusian.

The Trust continues in being active in Christian agencies working in the developing world, being engaged in work as widely varied as transport, emergency relief aid, education and the support of expatriate staff involved in long term mission and development

We are a PTA of a small infant school of less than 100 students. We fundraise by organising school events such as Christmas and Summer Fairs, quiz nights and social events. We use our funds to buy equipment and resources for the children in the school such as computer equipment, carnival costumes, games, books and other resources.We have also raised large sums of money through sponsored events.
