Makes grants to religious bodies

The Society studies the local history relating to Richmond, Ham, Kew, Petersham and organises meetings, exhibitions and visits to places of historical interest. The Society puts on record and where appropriate publishes local history of our area of interest.

The provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for people who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances, in particular for the benefit of young musicians and groups, in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of their lives.

OPEN SPACES

Raise awareness of the situation of people suffering from poverty and exclusion; and fund raise for educational and development projects and activities for women, children and young people anywhere in the world that are supported by the Company of Mary Our Lady.

The purpose of the Friends of Hillcroft is to advance the education of pupils in Hillcroft Primary School in particular by:- developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school- engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

To allow poor inhabitants of Windlesham to cut and dig the land held by the Fund to use as fuel. In variance, the Fund has assisted the poor by distributing fuel grants to claimants who meet special criteria defined by the Trustees.

Providing grants to Esher Church of England (Aided) First and Middle School for educational purposes.

Information and advice on welfare benefits; Information and advice on immigration and asylum issues; Basic ICT and ESOL classes and advanced classes for members of BME, making the transition to work; Cultural and creative activities and events; A range of volunteer programmes; Struggle against domestic violence; Care for elderly and sick people; Advice to parents about teenager crimes.

To advance the education of the public in the subject of the crafts and arts by the following:-the provision of premises and facilities for individuals and groups topractise the craft of pottery, ceramics, sculpture, related crafts and otherarts and crafts;-the provision of financial support to teachers/students of the crafts orarts whether teaching or studying-ad hoc talks/classes

Advance the education of the public in the history and heritage of Richmond Park and other Royal parks

Guildford Club for Disabled provides social support for the physically disabled which results in additional needs and requirements. The Club strives to provide wide ranging entertainment that caters for most age groups and their tastes.

Religious Activities

Elmbridge Youth Theatre presents one major production each year at the Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. The charity performs one or two smaller productions each year at the Barn in Walton-on-Thames. From time to time it enters a one-act play in the Elmbridge drama festival and holds drama workshops.

We work in partnership with other organisations to provide activities to meet the needs of the people living on The Chantrys estate and surrounding area. Currently we provide a range of childrens events throughout the year plus run table top sales and fetes to increase revenue. We are looking to expand the activities dependant on future funding.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:2.1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHER ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL2.2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OR WELLBEING OF THE PUPILS.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Banstead Infant School PTA comprises enthusiastic and dedicated who are committed to raising funds in order to enhance the educational experience of all the children at the school. We organise fund-raising events that provide fun, sociable entertainment for the children and their parents, and are inclusive of the school and wider community.

KEWI is part of the national WI organisation. There is a monthly meeting for members to meet for lectures/crafts as well smaller groups covering a range of educational/sporting or handicraft interests. KEWI also undertakes fundraising activities for a chosen local charity.

Unit of the Scout Association

The advancement of religion in accordance with the articles of the Gospel Standard Strict and Particular Baptists, by the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of Particular Baptist Chapels and burial grounds within a 20 miles radius of Smallfield, Surrey and the maintenance of the services therein.

Dorset Search Dogs uses dogs to help the police and other statutory bodies search for missing people in the UK.

Provision of support to relieve financial hardship and sickness, as well as the furtherance of education, within the areas of Oxted, Godstone, Lingfield, Edenbridge and surrounding villages.

The study, practice and encouragement of folk music in all its forms in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance or otherwise, including training and education of folk singers and instrument players, male or female, from all age groups and backgrounds.

The charity is established to advance the Christian religion by the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement and beautification of the Church of St John the Baptist, Okewood, in the Diocese of Guildford, and of the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and Churchyards belonging to the Church.
