FUNDRAISING FOR OUR ARMED FORCES AND EX SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN.

Supports the provision of a high quality countryside management service for north Surrey and Kingston upon Thames, through education and encouraging local people to become involved and promoting conservation by raising funds for countryside and access improvements.

Elmbridge Youth Theatre presents one major production each year at the Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. The charity performs one or two smaller productions each year at the Barn in Walton-on-Thames. From time to time it enters a one-act play in the Elmbridge drama festival and holds drama workshops.

The Charity works within the London Borough of Sutton to work towards allieviating loneliness and isolation in older people and those with disabilities by providing information and advice on how to live life more actively. Working with GP's on Social prescribing. Providing events for older people to signpost them to available help and activity sessions to aid health & wellbeing.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS

The Sea Cadets is nationwide voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by qualified adult volunteers. Its aim is to provide Cadets with structured training so they can progress towards good citizenship, as well as achieve nationally recognized qualifications.

Banstead Infant School PTA comprises enthusiastic and dedicated who are committed to raising funds in order to enhance the educational experience of all the children at the school. We organise fund-raising events that provide fun, sociable entertainment for the children and their parents, and are inclusive of the school and wider community.

The study, practice and encouragement of folk music in all its forms in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance or otherwise, including training and education of folk singers and instrument players, male or female, from all age groups and backgrounds.

The running of various fund raising activities throughout the school year

A wind orchestra offering musical education and appreciation to people in and around Surbiton. Membership is open to players of wind orchestral instruments to a minimum standard of grade 8. Forty rehearsals per year, through which members learn a range of music and can practice and hone their skills with players of a similar standard. Four concerts per year, sometimes raising funds for charities.

Forest Kids exists to enable children and young people in the Ash area and beyond to find a place of belonging where they can explore the Christian faith, improve their mental and physical wellbeing, and cultivate an interest in and care for the natural environment. This is done through regular age-appropriate group activities in a woodland setting.

The activities are undertaken in the Runnymede area and comprise:The positive recycling of quality household furniture and other household goods to needy and disadvantaged individuals and families.Undertaking short term projects for needy individuals and families e.g. gardening and DIYOrganising the collection and distributing of food for needy individuals and families.

The Charity owns a number of paintings, books, postcards and antique items of historical interest which all have a direct link with the Borough of Runnymede. Items are regularly displayed in the Chertsey Museum with the Literary items being stored at Royal Holloway College. The Charity looks to maintain and add to the Collections on a regular basis.

TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES TO DISABLED PERSONS IN SEVENOAKS AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY ENCOURAGING AND FACILITATING THEM TO ACCESS POWERCHAIR FOOTBALL. TO ASSIST WITH THE PROVISION OF TRAINING, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT. TO PROVIDE RESPITE TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WITH A PHYSICAL DISABILITY

SCOUTING ACTIVITIES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGED 6 TO 25. THE OBJECTIVES OF THE GROUP ARE AS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCATION. THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.
