The Cranston Library is one of the glories of Reigate's heritage. The trustees conserve the books, maintain routine security and purchase insurance. The main fund-raising event is the annual Cranston Lecture. Free access is arranged for scholarly research and visits from the public. The library participates in the annual Heritage Open Day and other visits are made by arrangement with the trustees.

We raise funds for students at Hurst Green Infant and Nursery school. In the past year we have provided funding towards classroom book corners, purchasing headphones to use with Chromebooks, and a visit from the Life Bus providing PSE. We raise money through school discos, the village fair, Christmas events, mufti days, sponsored events, mother's day and father's day shops, and easter egg hunts.

The Friends of St. Mary's Winchfield is established to support the maintenance, repair, restoration, preservation, beautification and improvement of the fabric of the Church and Churchyard of St. Mary's Winchfield, and the monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chatels of the Church.
