The Charity was set up to oversee the restoration and reconstruction of the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and Broad Canal for the use of the public. The Charity now exists to promote preserve maintain and improve the canal.

Forget-Me-Not Buddies is a group run by Carers and Volunteers that specifically offers subsidised social activities and interaction for persons living with Dementia and their Carers. It offers support from people who have walked the full path of the Dementia journey, from diagnosis to beyond demise of the diagnosed. The group is based in Tameside and accepts members from surrounding areas.

Brink Productions vision is to continually provide platforms and spaces that give young people the opportunity to express themselves within their communities and to have a voice. Using a range of arts media and dance activities to allow young people to express themselves in any way they feel comfortable, to build confidence and to show young people in a positive light.

The advancement of education and the development of skills for people in the north of England who want to improve their skills and employment through the provision of vocational, numeracy and literacy skills training frameworks and any other charitable causes as may from time to time be determined.

Dancing with Dementia is a social dance/entertainment charity for people living with dementia. A place where the family and others guests can offer support and empathy with their experiences. Music and dance together creates an enjoyable and uplifting experience for our guests, their family, friends and carers. The social inclusion helps to create a positive effect on the wellbeing of our guests.

Community-based Flexible Learning Programme; English with Life in the UK, Food Safety & Hygiene, Video Editing, Music & Writing, Computer & Employment Training with placement, Job Search for the local community open to all age. Publication of Dual Language Magazine, Cultural & Educational Activities, Oral History of Bangladeshi in Greater Manchester produced 50 videos and published a history book.

Les Abeilles de Manchester is a Saturday supplementary school who supports bi-lingual francophone children from birth to 16 years old. We offer sessions to support children in their learning of the French language and the francophone culture. Older students are also preparing for British and French exams.

Further the religious and other charitable purposes of the Unitarian church in Dukinfield and the surrounding neighbourhood by providing support to the congregation.

To support families living with children and young people diagnosed with special needs such as autism, sickle cell and the like.

THE AIM OF SCOUTING IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL,INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALTHE METHOD OF ACHIEVING THE AIM IS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EXCITING AND ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIESWITH PROGRESSIVE TRAINING BASED ON THE SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW GUIDED BY ADULT LEADERSHIP.

The PCC co-operates with the minister in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Liv's Trust has been set up to help under twenty-fives in Greater Manchester get help and receive education in music & dance. The charity is set up in loving memory of Olivia Paige Campbell-Hardy who was tragically taken from us in the Manchester Arena atrocity on the 22/05/17.

Hurst Community Centre has the following activities through out the week, Drop in Centres, Keep fit, AA Group, Drama Shows, Pantomimes, Karate, Divine Youth and Private hire for meetings, parties and weddings it has a fully equipped stage, halls, small meeting rooms and a catering Kitchen.

Religious ceremonies, including birth, marriages and death ceremonies. Religious & cultural education. Educate local & other communities about Sikh religion & culture tradition. Celebrate Sikh festivals. Sports & social recreation etc.

The charity organised classes on almost every Saturday during the year. These classes covered languages, philosophy, music, dance and drama.

Donations to local, national and international organisations operating for charitable purposes in education, health and general humanitarian fields

To assist in the provision of facilities, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation, education or other leisure time, occupation of persons who have need of such facilities by reason of their disability. In the event of spare capacity to include persons who are disadvantaged by social and economic circumstances with the object of improving and enhancing their conditions of life.

Advances the education of the public in the study of Family History in all its many aspects. There are groups who meet throughout Cheshire and elsewhere.

We deliver a range of activities for military veterans, people with physical disabilities, looked after children, vulnerable adults and older adults. Our activities are wide reaching and varied.

Grit Street Aid provides mobile assistance to around 50 rough sleepers and homeless each week throughout Greater Manchester. We offer help to people where they live on the street, providing food, clothing, and other basic essentials. We also advocate for our service users, in conjunction with the Street Support Network, and we hope to provide our service users with better access into services.
