The Greater Manchester Transport Society exists to maintain a museum for the purpose of advancing the education of the public in the nature of public transport within the United Kingdom and the historical development of all aspects of such public transport with particular emphasis upon the historical aspects of road passenger transport in the counties of Greater Manchester Cheshire and Lancashire.

Maintain the interests of the regiment and antecedent regiments by providing welfare and benevolence support to serving and retired members of the regiment.

The Edward Holt Trust operates across Greater Manchester. Its principal activity is maintaining Holt House in Didsbury, which provides accommodation for older people with limited means. Recently the Trust has sought ways to have a more strategic impact on disadvantaged people in the area by assisting a number of homelessness projects with capital funds and other support costs.

Our objective is specifically to seek to enable ordinary people to live out their faith in everyday life through:? Worship and prayer; learning about the Gospel; and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus? Provision of pastoral care for people living in the parish? Mission, service to the community and outreach work.

CARRYING OUT ALL THE RELEGIOUS ACTIVITIES, RAISING FUNDS FOR CHARITY, LOOKING AFTER OLD AND YOUNG PEOPLEIN GREATER MANCHESTER AREA

Provision of activities and services for the benefit of adults with learning disabilities, autism and other related disabilities in the Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale areas of Greater Manchester.

Provides sanctuary for unwanted animals and aims to educate people in their care for animals

The Charles Halle Foundation raises funds to assist the Halle Concerts Society in its non-core activities and in particular to finance foreign tours by the Halle Orchestra, to create opportunities to encourage young British astists and composers, to provide special concerts for young people and to support the Halle's education and outreach programme.

To restore and bring back into public service the steam tug/passenger tender "Daniel Adamson" built at Tranmere in 1903.

a) To provide specialist support services to tackle Gender Based Violence (GBV)B amongst Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and to emphasise on the impact it has on children.(b) To educate, equip, empower and impact knowledge and raise awareness by conducting regular workshops on thefundamental effects and consequences of GBV.

Our aims and objectives are to provide for the relief of women and their children who have been physically, sexually and emotionally and/or mentally abuse within an intimate or family relationship throughout the United Kingdom. Also, to advance public and professional education and understanding of the issues of domestic violence/abuse throughout the United Kingdom.

Mustafia Sharif is actively involved in a diverse range of charitable activities, including:Homeless Feed, Health and Well-being initiatives, Employability Support, Educational and Skill Development Courses and Training, Youth club, Coffee Mornings, Arranging kids activities, Food and Monetary Relief and promoting women's empowerment through various programmes and initiatives

The Association exists to promote the benefit of persons whose family origins are the Yemen or from a BME background, particularly by the provision of education and training, preserving and promoting culture and language, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress within our community and providing access to leisure and recreational activities.

We run activities for ethnic communities of Greater Manchester, including:- sports and exercise opportunities;- youth work;- information resources in various languages on health, employment, domestic violence, environmental, financial and other relevant issues;- wellbeing sessions;- nature workshops;- awareness campaigns.

Advancement of the Christian faith, proclaiming the Christian gospel through word and deed in Manchester and beyond through Sunday and midweek gatherings. Relieving of financial hardship or other economic or social disadvantage.

We provide consistent, empowering and engaging support to families in need across the cities of Salford and Manchester. We give vital baby and household essentials to the most vulnerable families. Our Stay & Play sessions give children and their families an opportunity to bond and have fun together, away from the stresses of home. We help women to achieve their Breastfeeding goals.

Our principal activities this year focused on developing our services to young people with a disability, delivering trampolining and rebound therapy sessions in our operational base in Stockport.

The Trust provides grants to projects designed to fight crime and the fear of crime in Greater Manchester.

Refurbishing and repairing donated computers and other IT equipment to give or loan to approved individuals, charities, schools and community groups, locally and overseas, without means to buy new equipment. Providing IT working and training opportunities for vulnerable and other volunteers in a supportive workshop environment. Providing informal training and support to older and other people

We support the Polish Saturday School in Manchester by providing teaching resources to further the educational and cultural program leading to national qualifications at GCSE, AS and A level in the Polish language. We hire suitable premises, and employ both paid and volunteer staff in teaching or support capacities, and ensure the health and safety of all students attending the school.

We promote community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of amateur boxing; Through boxing activities, for all ages, abilities and for the wider community, we hope to have a positive impact on individuals mental well-being, physical well-being and on lifestyle choices.
