Enhancement of health services provided by the Trust

Regular public worship open to all; provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation; pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved; teaching of Christianity; taking of religious assemblies in schools; promotion of the whole mission of the Church through activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers and other groups; supporting other charities in the UK and overseas

The funds continuing objectives are for charitable purposes within the areas affected by the activities of Manchester Airport. Income is generated from the annual donation from Manchester Airport, and from noise fines levied to airlines on departure by Manchester Airport and passed over to the Trust Fund. These funds are then dispersed to local interest groups as decided by the Trustees.

Maintain the Etherow Centre building for the provision of recreational and therapeutic activities for the disabled.

WAST is a self help women's asylum seeker led organization building the members capacity for survival in the asylum system, developing members, confidence, basic English cultural understanding, new skills and providing opportunities to take part in activities which help overcome the trauma of their experiences and which also serve to raise awareness and understanding in their local communities.

A specialist not for profit family mediation service

We are a charity that aims to help Muslim students in the Greater Manchester are. The aim is to support students through various grants, awards and bursaries. We are hoping to raise initial funds for a Waqf and the income will be a sustainable income source to support our activities. We also want to support Muslim student events and other groups that share our aims

Greater Manchester Blood Bikes provides an out of hours courier service staffed by unpaid volunteers to NHS hospitals and hospices in the Greater Manchester area transporting Blood, Donor breast milk, samples and other items used for medical or the surgical treatment of patients for Doctors ,Hospitals, Hospices, Laboratories and Chemists free of charge.

Place of worship and outreach for the community through various activities e.g cafe, youth work, kids club, and our premises are also used as a Pre-School and by an art club.

The provision of religious education, worship and study in the Islamic faith.

Grant making charity which makes donations to a wide range of charities and other community organisations which provide charitable benefits for communities within Greater Manchester, in particular, organisations for young people, provision for the sick, the disabled, the elderly and disadvantaged, support for educational initiatives by arts organisations and support for community groups.

Museum dedicated to life and times of soldiers of The Cheshire Yeomanry, The 22nd (CHESHIRE) Regiment, The Mercian Regiment and C Sqn RMLY Exhibits show history of regiments raised in Cheshire spanning 3 Centuries.Assists in research for individuals tracing family history.Extra commemmorative exhibitions throughout the year.

TEC designs enterprising education projects for all, in particular, those from disadvantaged backgrounds or communities in the UK and in Europe. We raise the profile of enterprise as a tool for self-development and achievement by designing creating innovative projects which explore pathways for individuals, communities and organisations so they can start or enhance their journey to success.

TO ENABLE PERSONS IN MANCHESTER AND SALFORD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS OR DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE;

Promoting in the Parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has responsibilities for the Church Building, Church Centre and Churchyard.

The branch boards/fosters previously abused, neglected or unwanted animals in need until new homes are found. RSPCA Inspectorate animals are given priority. Operates welfare neutering and treatment schemes for owners in receipt of certain state benefits and Community Animal Action Days to raise awareness responsible animal ownership. Raises funds to support the above activities.

The Together Centre Charity provides meaningful support services for local Families and Communities within a thriving Community Hub, and our ambition is to support and encourage empowering positive outcomes whilst demonstrating inclusive and equal participation for Tameside and it's wider Communities. We also have a Food Pantry and Charity Shop to help those struggling financially.

The current activity is the maintenance and operation as a heritage attraction of 84 Plymouth Grove, Manchester, the home of Mrs Elizabeth Gaskell. The house is open to the public and runs a programme of activities and events.
