To advance scientific research into alternative techniques/substitutes to replace use of animals in medical/other research Lord Dowding Fund for Humane Research transferred from founding organisation National Anti-Vivisection Society to ADIf in resolution approved by Society?s directors on/effective 26 June 2016.

Goods For Good sends goods donated by UK and European businesses and individuals to vulnerable communities living around the world. The charity also works with vulnerable communities in the UK, such as refugees and asylum seekers. In four years of operation, we have helped over two million people in desperate need, delivering £20.5m worth of goods to 24 countries worldwide.

The charity relieves immediate financial distress when a member, who must be Serving in the RAF, dies from whatever cause, by making grants to their nominated beneficiary.

Walk21 works with local communities to assess their environment and identify opportunities for improving walkability with the app. We run an international conference to disseminate best practice and share knowledge and network. We advocate for walking at a range of international forums and run workshops with local governments to develop the capacity to deliver better walkability.

People nominate someone in need and every week we choose someone to help, share their story and provide what they need. We also run extra projects to help larger numbers of people. In addition, we provide Kindness Workshops for schools which empower children to create positive change and improve their wellbeing.

The International Society of Hypertension (ISH) is the premier global body dedicated to research, education and clinical excellence in blood pressure and related cardiovascular disease. Highlighted activities include: Scientific Meetings, New Investigator and Women in Hypertension Research networks and educational activities with a focus on economically disadvantaged countries.

The charity in line with its aims has been investing the donations received to date and is currently reviewing the investments in order to make a decision on what charitable activities/grants are to be undertaken in the next year from income received.

The charity's principal objects include the advancement of education in accountancy, financial management and related subjects as well as the support of individuals studying such subjects. It provides CPD (Continuing Professional Development) to members of ACCA and members of the public. It also provides a magazine Student Accountant, technical publications and promotes accounting research.
