The British Council Benevolent Fund's charitable purpose is the alleviation of financial hardship for British Council employees, both past and present, and their families, globally. We help children and families access treatments that improve health and life experiences when not readily available through statutory bodies like the NHS. This is achieved through developing programs that provide vital emotional and practical support.

There is no one organisation that takes responsibility for graves and memorials before 1914. As a result many of the graves are in poor condition and are in need of repair. The Remembrance Trust has as an objective to find and, where possible, restore these monuments and graves of military personnel worldwide. We will also aid local communities and educate and train future generations.
