The British Youth Council, the national youth council of the UK, aims to empower young people, aged 25 and under, to have a say and be heard in the UK and overseas. This is through a programme of education, research, training, volunteering, representation and advocacy opportunities. The charity is membership based & exclusively youth-led. It was formerly registered no. 305973 until 31 March 2009.

The principal activity of Highfields Church is the promotion of Christianity. We run a local church and associated activities including weekly clubs for all ages of children, as well as ministries focussed on Students and Internationals. We support missionaries both in the UK and abroad in order to spread the gospel worldwide.

Reuben's Retreat will be a home-from-home for families coping with the serious illness of a child, providing respite breaks and the chance to build happy memories. We already provide support, counselling and well-being for children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness (medical complexities) and their parents and siblings, and for families bereaved of a precious child.

The applications are reviewed against these criteria and if approved, the funds are released.

Our mentoring, psychotherapy and restorative justice programmes are delivered amongst children, young people and adults in custodial and community settings, mainly in London and the South East of England.
