The mission of the Coutts Foundation is to support sustainable approaches to tackle the causes and consequences of poverty, focusing on the communities where Coutts has a presence. At this time the core focus of the Foundation is supporting women and girls in the UK.

Provision of holidays for disadvantaged families.

We maintain 11 communities of religious sisters working in parishes. Sisters also work in Education/Spiritual Formation, Health, and Pastoral work - ensuring that each one brings to her ministry Christian Values, Attentiveness to the disadvantaged and Respect for the value and the dignity of the individual . We also provide for the needs of sick and elderly sisters.

The principal activities of the company and the charity are those of providing relief of poverty, suffering and distress among refugees and other homeless people, the homeless, advancement of education, learning and research, and to make donations to any institution established for charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales.

The Foundation is currently focusing on raising funds and actively working for the survival of tigers, elephants, rhinos and other critically endangered mammals in the wild. The Foundation concentrates its focus on field projects where even limited funding makes a real difference to the survival of wildlife and their habitat. It also runs active enforcement, training and education projects.

The object of the Charity is to advance the education of the public, particularly by assisting in the promotion of reading among children and young people. The Charity will particularly promote World Book Day, which shall comprise a series of events each year, or any other such event, the purpose of which is to promote and encourage reading among children and young people

Founded in 1942, Arthritis Action is a UK charity helping people with arthritis to live a more active life with less pain. The Charity offers a holistic self-management approach to people living with all forms of arthritis, comprised of healthy eating and nutritional consultations, education and support groups, self-management events, and access to physical therapies across the UK.

The charity supports those organisations deemed to promote the objectives of this charity.

To Provide essential first aid services through the placement of Defibrillators through community fundraising events. We will also provide training in the use of CPR and Defibrillators

The charity aim to relieve the need of person who are or have been engaged in the care sector, and the widows, widowers, partners, orphans and the other dependents of such persons by relieving poverty and sickness. Care sector will be defined as covering care homes for the older people and for younger adults, domiciliary care providers, day centres and supported living providers.

STOPAIDS is a membership network of 70 organisations. We bring UK civil society together, standing united, to advocate for UK leadership in the global response to HIV and AIDS. STOPAIDS also directly engages at the global level through influencing key institutions including UNAIDS, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and UNITAID.

The Boat Building Academy (BBA) delivers training in a range of skills that encompass woodworking and furniture making to boatbuilding and marine related activities. Courses last from a few days to just under a year and there is some accommodation on site, almost on the beach in Lyme Regis, Dorset. As a charity we can assist some deserving men and women who could not otherwise afford the fees.
