Teaching and training

In the year 2015, the charity stayed true to its constitutional object as we taught the teachings of the Bible and empowered the members to use their knowledge and giftings in serving God, the members and the community at large. We provided support financial and other means for the divorced, single mothers, the Hurting in our midst and those who joined us from the community.

The Charity through the medium of comedy provides funds and facilities, for producing sketches in schools mainly in the Greater London area, highlighting the dangers and illegality of carrying knives, and for training in social, life and communication skills in mental health institutions, prisons,and gangland, and for carrying out the objects of the Trust Deed.

Exercises with therapist & music. Tuition with tutors for various activities i.e. pewter work - glass painting - sewing and embrodiary cards - scrabble and dominoes etc.

The UL Chamber Choir is a student led, professionally directed chamber choir based in the heart of Central London. The choir presents public concerts throughout the year at Central London venues, as well as providing monthly evensong at St Mary Le Strand, Aldwych. Broadcasts, recordings and tours throughout the UK and abroad are also interspersed within the choir's calendar.

The Tagoreans aim to achieve their objects mainly by staging plays/dance-dramas, poetry recitations; organising lectures, seminars and exhibitions of arts and crafts; by setting up and running schools and classes for the teaching of Bengali language, music and dance and by holding special cultural performances to raise funds for the deserving causes.
