The principal activity is supporting the work of the Vortex Jazz Club. In particular to advance the education of the public by promoting the continuing development, greater awareness and understanding and appreciation of jazz and related music and other arts.

Monthly meetings to discuss areas of interest to the members

To support the development of the infrastructure of the health services in the North-East of Sri Lanka. To develop and fund public health projects in the North-East of Sri Lanka. To support the development of the primary healthcare in North East of Sri Lanka. To facilitate the health education and training in Sri Lanka and United Kingdom. Promote health awarness in British Tamil community.

Relief of poverty for Pakistan families and individuals in need, identified by the management team. Education grants, provision of quality literature in various languages. Educational grants for disadvantaged individuals in London who are known to the trustees and sponsored by donors by the Directors. Educational events run by the Directors in inner London. UK admin.

THE TRUST COLLECTS AND DISBURSES DONATIONS IN LINE WITH THE TRUST'S CHARITABLE AIMS WHICH ARE TO ASSIST, PROMOTE AND SUPPORT ORAL HISTORY PROJECTS.

The Singers give between 3 and 6 performances throughout the south east and often in response to a request to raise funds for a charity.

To support the repair of the Union Chapel building in Upper Street, Islington; the safeguarding of the Congregation of Union Chapel Archives; and the implementation of the Organ Restoration and Music Outreach Project, and their use for the benefit of the wider community. To assist the Union Chapel Project, Margins Project, and Church in fund raising and organising events.

The charity offers opportunities for fitness sessions, including running, to women affected by or at risk of homelessness and/or affected by multiple disadvantages.

The charity operates by making donations locally and to organisations approved by Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland.

Shai Foundation supports children who lives have been adversely impacted through poverty, neglect, abuse & poor mental health. In the UK, we support young people in the care system and impoverished families through our links with Home Start Service. Our focus is also on Caribbean thus since 2012 our programme in Haiti enabled over 100 children to get an education and their families food n clothes

Meeting place for members and others interested in Family History Research in West Middlesex.Transcribing and holding copies of Parish Registers and other records in the West Middlesex area.Attending "Fairs" to promote Family History and our Society.

We have continued to try and grow our donors through standing order and direct debit. Working with two other established reg. charities: Barwaqa Relief Organisation and Generation For Change and Development. These two charities who have established links with orphans in Kenya. A payment was made to BRO 23/3/16 and to Gencad 23/6/17. Other than the above we have not transferred any other money.
