The playgroup offers flexible, affordable, inclusive childcare to the local community in East London. Children come from a range of diverse backgrounds. Using the EYFS curriculum, staff provide a range of activities and experiences to enhance children's learning and development. Children aged from 2 - 5 years access a wide range of resources and are supported according to their individual needs.

The principal activities of the social enterprise are an artisan bakery, bicycle workshop and light manufacturing. This work provides time limited (usually 3 months) trainee placements for men and women who suffer from mental ill health and forms a part of their recovery and social inclusion. The aim of the enterprise is a move on of trainees to employment or further training.

The Globe Community Project (GCP) offers a variety of free or affordable activities to the inhabitants of Globe Town and the neighbouring areas. These activities provide a range of educational, cultural and social services that benefit both individuals and the neighbourhood as a whole, reflecting the diversity and complexity of our community.

Supporting practice and appreciation of visual art for the public benefit and advancement of education in the arts, by establishing an art gallery to provide ongoing exhibitions, educational events for schools, lectures and intern training programmes with financial support by Arts Council England. Continued support for artists who are in financial need by assisting with studio space for them.

Objective of the Trust Fund is the advancement of education and training for residents of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in technical and managerial skills relevant to commerce and industry.

Poplar is the most deprived ward within Tower Hamlets.The Poplar Partnership is small charity set up to try and tackle these problems at their root, by helping fund and support early intervention projects within our community.

We run creative clubs and classes for vulnerable adults and local children from the local community and we aim to build confidence through creative achievement.

We support Asian mothers who are fleeing domestic abuse. Our services enable women to gain support and understanding within a safe and confidential environment. We provide advocacy, guidance, emotional support, workshops, social activities, referrals and signposting. We currently employ 6 paid members of staff.

CRV - East London provides following services: Vietnamese Elderly Support Services includes Drop in centre, advisory and information on welfare, housing, health, education, training, counselling and home visits. Luncheon club. Social cultural events and outing trips. Home care services.

Ocean Youth Connexions has been providing various youth and community activities since 2002, within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. These have range from youth club sessions, parents and children's evenings, football training, Taekwando, homework clubs, cycle proficiency training and employment support workshops. The organisation also delivers various holiday programmes targeting families.

AOAV researches the threat and impact of weapons in order to reduce the risks that provoke violence and conflict and to support the recovery of victims. We work with civil society partners and with governments to strengthen international laws on the use of conventional weapons, to build recognition of the rights of victims of armed violence.

Advocacy and Befriending service for socially isolated and lonely older people living in the borough of Tower Hamlets

The charity is engaged in strengthening & promoting community cohesion & involvement in the Blackwall & Limehouse areas of London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

We are a local Christian charity in Bethnal Green whose services are open to all, irrespective of background or belief.Our activities include: church activities, early years groups, children's and youth work, outreach to vulnerable adults.

Turning Corners builds trust and helps individuals and families navigate the long, confusing, and often painful path through mental health and crisis systems. We are the shoulder people can lean on, ensuring they know where to go, how to get there, and how to hold on until recovery.

The charity provides activities for girls.Canaan Project's mission is to provide high quality youth work for underrepresented young women in Tower Hamlets. We provide safe spaces within the community for girls to try new things, meet new people and access support. We offer trips to help raise young women's aspirations and broaden their horizons.
