We partner with the local council to manage community centre and crown green bowling facilities for residents of Trafford and beyond. Funds are used to provide safe spaces for recreation and support amateur crown green bowling in the interests of providing recreational and leisure time activities to promote social welfare and improve the local quality of life, whilst ensuring inclusion for all.

To advance young people in life, by providing funding, resources and support to charities located in the north west of England for specific purposes which the trustees in their absolute discretion determine, so as to develop their capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Scouting

Grants to St Vincents Catholic Primary School for education and sport.

Meeting place for community & social groups, including over 60s, dance schools, playgroups, exercise classes, sewing & flower groups, games for elderly, drama group, and talks by visiting speakers.

Provide a drop-in advice and information.Training centre.Work with the statutory and voluntary bodies.Provide translation,interpretation work.Provide outreach work for the most vulnerable members of the community.Preserve the culture and history of the Somali communityTarget underachieving childrenWork with Adult Education.Engage with young people by providing youth activities

Fundraising and Social activities within the school environment

Ecumenical Chaplaincies to places of work and town centres in Greater Manchester. Bolton, Oldham, St. Antony's Centre- Trafford Park -(employment support, IAG & and training), Middlebrook Retail Park, Community Cohesion Project Bolton (with Inter Faith Council and faith leaders in Bolton) and Street Angels Project in Oldham & Oldham Town Centre Chaplaincy.

To provide funds to purchase items for the education and enjoyment of pupils of the school.Fundraising activities have included for example bake sales, discos, Christmas Fair, Spring Fair, clothes and foreign coin donations.Items funded within the school have included for example classroom equipment, visits to school to support curriculum and sporting equipment for school teams and sports.

Parent/teacher association raising money for benefit of children at Stamford Park Primary School.

Fund raising activities/events: Christmas Prize Draw, fun family evenings, disco and film nights, Summer fair. Money raised helps the school to purchase extra items that all children can benefit from.

Teaching of Finnish language and culture, excursions, social events

GMBHCA celebrates Hindu Cultural, Social and Religious festivals that include Durga puja, Lakshmi puja, Kali puja, Saraswati puja and organises cultural /activities such as Bijoya Sammilani, Bengali New Year and other functions which include classical dances, music and dramas involving the younger generation and guest artists of the community. It also organises educational trips to various places.

The aim is to promote amateur theatre in and across the greater manchester area together with updates of legal and national requirements, this involves approximately 60 societies.

We are a school for teaching Tamil language and culture for the public in Greater Manchester area. We conduct weekly Tamil languages classes for kids. We also conduct Music and Kalari (traditional martial arts) classes to adults and kids on a weekly basis.

To raise funds from within our Community to be distributed within the Community to those who are felt would benefit or to be spent overseas in line with RIBI & RI aims and objects

The promotion of social inclusion in particular, but not exclusively, among elderly persons who are excluded from society due to their age and social isolation.The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial or other social disadvantage .

The objects of the charity is to benefit sick needy persons resident within Lancs, Gr. Manchr, S. Cumbria, Liverpl and Sefton with up to 20% of the net yearly income being available for the benefit of retired district nursing staff who have worked in the same area. There is no restriction on the overall amount to benefit the sick needy. Application of amounts is at the discretion of the trustees.
