Our mission is to provide health and disability care to the world's most vulnerable, without discrimination. We work in Haiti, South Sudan, and Uganda to: build local capacity to provide quality, life-saving healthcare; provide dignity, independence and empowerment to people with disabilities; and respond to emergencies quickly and effectively to minimise the long-term implications of crisis.

The objectives of the trust are as follows: - Advancement of Education - Preservation of Health - Relief of Poverty, Distress, and Sickness

The objectives of AID HUMANITY are:1) The relief of poverty, in the UK and throughout the world, by providing: Grants, items and services to individuals in need and charities, or other organisations, working to relieve poverty.2) To further such other purposes which may be charitable according to the law of England and Wales.

Through technical advice, advocacy, applied research, policy analysis, and capacity development, NRCL works with innovative agents of change within government ministries, civil society, the media, legislatures, the private sector, and international institutions to promote accountable and effective governance in the extractive industries.

To respond to domestic and international disasters; in so doing give a sense of purpose, community, and identity to ex-military personnel. Response teams aim to bring to bear the best skills and expertise from the military, first responders, and civilians in order to coordinate the best possible, most timely, and best integrated response.

"The Elephant Protection Initiative" means the African led initiative for the protection of elephants, which was launched in London in February 2014. The Charity will carry out such activities as are necessary to promote the conservation and protection of the African elephant.

The Chairty's objectives are for the public benefit, anywhere in the world to advance education, prevent and relieve poverty and to relieve unemployment, (including those with little or no education, survivors of human trafficking, people with disabilities, refugees and migrants). We provide training and resources to partners around the world bringing strategic, sustainable solutions.

Africa Trust works to bring sustainable solutions to poverty in Africa. They establish sustainable supplies of clean water and decent sanitation. Income generating projects are used to pay school fees, improve clinics and generate funds needed to run orphanages. With business skills training, villagers start businesses and funds are circulated to catalyse new projects.

Provide or assist in providing for the welfare of maritime workers of all nations, and assisting them and their dependents in conditions of sickness, hardship and distress

Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bhuj is a socio-religious Hindu charitable organisation dedicated to advancing education through the provision of teaching services, buildings, facilities and grants; and advancing the Hindu faith based on the original teachings and principles of Lord Shree Swaminarayan. It seeks to operate worldwide.

Provision for children, families and young people through resourcing churches and other organizations, and by supporting Christian workers worldwide especially those involved therein as well as the care of orphans, education and literature distribution. Maintaining our unique heritage of supporting children. Grants may be made only where partnership exists and not for unsolicited requests.

Transaid is an international development charity. We identify, champion, implement and share local transport solutions to improve access to basic services and economic opportunity for people in Africa and in developing countries. We partner with local communities, governments, donors and organisations to achieve our aims and facilitate exchange of skills and knowledge gained from our projects.

The GNDR's activities centre around the collaborative action in support of implementing the Hyogo Framework for Action (HFA) including the Views from the Frontline (VFL) initiative which produces reports of progress. The HFA was adopted in 2005 at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction held in Hyogo, Japan, to substantially reduce the loss of lives and livelihoods caused by disasters.

The charity aims to support all charitable, social and pastoral works being carried out by members of the Institute. These ministries carried out by the sisters, all of which benefit members of the public, fall into the following main categories: Education; Social and pastoral work; Care Units; Support of Missionary Work Overseas; and Prayer groups - community and individual prayer

The Brian Mercer Trust awards grants to charities and organisations whose aims are: a) Prevention of, or relief from, disadvantage and suffering resulting from poverty, ill-health, or other causes globally.b) Promotion of visual arts, and artistic talent especially in the North West of England.c) Support for charitable community initiatives local to Blackburn, Lancashire
