We are a unique networking hub where women share ideas & advice in order to create change. We broker access to people who can make a difference & our members use their profile to bring attention to important issues, ampliyfing the voices of vulnerable women. We work with respected partners in supporting various projects financially & with expert advice from women leaders in their field.

As a practical witness we seek to facilitate personal and community dignity of those in real need in less developed parts of the world by sustainable local projects which: a) help to relieve the effects of hunger disease disability destitution homelessness b) promote agriculture clean water basic health care education c) encourage sharing learning service to others and community development

The aim of Veritas College is to equip pastors and other leaders in the church in competencies to effectively interpret, apply and communicate Holy Scripture. The College meets the pastors in their own context allowing them to continue supporting their own churches and families and not taking them away for residential training that is more costly and sometimes out of context for the pastors.

Providing aid to those who are, or have recently been, suffering from war, conflict and/or oppression; focusing on forgotten people in forgotten lands.

We provide humanitarian aid to the poor and disadvantaged potentially worldwide but currently to various sub-Saharan African countries. Although we help anyone in need irrespective of tribe, ethnic background, gender or religion, our objective is to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ and to give practical effect to the Christian principles which underpin our ministry.

Action on Poverty's vision is a world where everyone can work with pride for a better future. We work in partnership with people in East and West Africa to build livelihoods and transform lives; addressing barriers to safe and lasting work, hunger and injustice. These changemakers access vital skills and resources needed to earn a living and address the root causes of poverty.

The Brian Mercer Trust awards grants to charities and organisations whose aims are: a) Prevention of, or relief from, disadvantage and suffering resulting from poverty, ill-health, or other causes globally.b) Promotion of visual arts, and artistic talent especially in the North West of England.c) Support for charitable community initiatives local to Blackburn, Lancashire

Busoga Trust is a UK based, Christian charity which has as its principal aims the raising of money for water development projects in the rural areas of Uganda with a major emphasis on sanitation and health education.

Teach A Man To Fish supports schools to provide a more relevant education, through enterprise, empowering young people to succeed in work and in life. Our core programme, the School Enterprise Challenge, guides schools in how to set up a profitable business as an education platform for teaching young people key work & life skills.. Al Medina 313 provides emergency relief during and after a disaster has struck, but also focuses on addressing underlying causes of poverty such as health, education and economic development. Safe Drinking Water, Vulnerable/Orphans/Elderly Sponsorship Projects, Propagation of Islamic knowledge according to the Sunnah of Last Prophet (peace be upon him) are the core target of Al Medina 313.

The Public Awareness and Action Committee established a World Brain Day (WBD) on 22 July, the date theWFN was founded in 1957. The first WBD slogan was ?Our Brain - Our Future?. This global campaign wasdesigned to promote awareness about the brain and neurological diseases and to promote brain health. A largenumber of national societies organized activities and media events.

The Beacon Equity Trust is involved in the promotion of the education of people under the age of 25 years anywhere in the world.

Our overall mission is to supports people to gain the skills and knowledge they need to build resilient livelihoods and thriving communities. We work with and through partner organisations to deliver training and to equip graduates for work. In the UK we have a network of over 350 UK volunteers who contribute by collecting and refurbishing donated tools and by fundraising to support our work.

Our activities include Offering a culturally appropriate space for womenOne to one support for women in crisis,Female Genital Survivor's group therapy. Volunteering and retail experience at the Furniture Mill,training for communities and professionals to become more culturally competent,supporting women to get back into work through job preparedness sessions and one to one enterprenual skills.
