RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS, PARTICULARLY FOR CHILDREN.

We combat poverty by supporting income generation through beekeeping. We provide hives, training and equipment, manufactured locally, to give communities the ability to create businesses around the sale of honey and other hive products, and to integrate beekeeping into current agricultural practices to maximise crop pollination and increase yields.

Our charity work continues to raise funds to provide financial assistance with running children's homes in Romania.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

Works in Collaboration with Basena Agro Creativity Centre in Uganda to Awaken, Strengthen Creativity, Support and Preserve Child Education. Protect the Environment, Provide Good Health, Financial Support for Children and their Families. Encourages Creativity Processes that make a difference to Young Peoples Lives including Inspiring and Empowering Children to Explore, Develop and Grow.

Formerly known as Woodland Christian Trust we are working to bring education, healing, relief, care and hope to people in need or distress. We are based in the UK but our primary focus is abroad with those with whom the trustees have knowledge and contact. Working specifically at this time in Pakistan, India, Ethiopia, Philippines and East Africa. Educational projects, seminars and training etc.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers

EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH

To prevent or relieve poverty in Mukono and Butebo in Eastern Uganda by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects, and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient, in particular, but not exclusively by: a. Providing free primary education and educational support to the wider community

Training Ugandan youth, with a priority on females, in operating mechanised agricultural equipment, organic farming and in soft skills for the work place. This is done at a Youth Empowerment Training centre, The centre is based in Northern Uganda.

To help relieve sickness and financial hardship, promote and preserve good health. Enable the education of the most deprived people, train poor and disadvantaged people, through activities, such as farming and food processing skills to feed themselves. Provide relief where there is poverty or disasters so lives can be re-built and dignity restored.

Dedicated to raising funds in the UK through a variety of activities, including charity galas and direct marketing to our donors to support impactful projects in Kenya and Uganda. Our initiatives focus on disabled persons, livelihood support, women's empowerment, and education support.

Relief and assistance of poor communities in Uganda, currently focussing on Nakaseke, particularly by improving school facilities, basic resources, and developing initiatives to generate sustainable incomes and/or self-sufficiency.

To help raise money to support the poor in countries such as Zambia, Uganda and India. Currently got Ralph Turner running the London Marathon to raise money for Esther homes in India

Provision of assistance to women and children in Ghana, Uganda, Bangladesh,Sudan and the UK.In particular the disabled, suffers from HIV and AIDS and financially disadvantaged women.
