The charity's objects are1) to advance health and relieve sickness for the public benefit by such means as the trustee in their absolute discretionshall from time to time see fit (including by the support of veterans in the United Kingdom); and2) to further such other charitable purposes as the trustees shall from time to time see fit.

The objects of the trust are such charitable purposes as the trustees shall think fit whether in England and Wales or elsewhere.

THE HUMAN DIGNITY TRUST IS AN ORGANISATION OF INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS SUPPORTING LOCAL PARTNERS TOUPHOLD HUMAN RIGHTS AND CONSTITUTIONAL LAW IN COUNTRIES WHERE HOMOSEXUALITY IS CRIMINALISED.THE TRUST PROVIDES PRO BONO TECHNICAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND ADVISORY SERVICES AT THE REQUEST OF, AND IN COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL ACTIVISTS, THEIR LAWYERS AND OTHER HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS.

We ensure the continuing welfare and care of all Congregation members. We support charitable activities in the UK, USA, El Salvador and Haiti: education, health benefits, homeless shelters, asylum seekers, trafficked persons, parish and hospital ministries, women, multi-faith groups, social justice, human rights, environmental issues, housing for Haitians and responding to crises as they arise.

Grant-making trust

To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time by providing grants to organisations, charities and communities exclusively for the public benefit.

The College's main activity is the provision and administration of the Gresham Lectures given by the Gresham Professors in a tradition going back more than 400 years. The College also organises seminars and conferences and publishes papers in pursuance of the College's policy of re-interpreting 'the sharing of the new learning for free' which was Sir Thomas Gresham's intent, in contemporary terms.

The PA Foundation aims to develop and inspire people, particularly those facing disadvantage, to be the innovators and leaders of tomorrow, applying their ingenuity to solve the world's biggest challenges.

Our charitable objectives lie in advancing microbiology research and education, and applying microbiological knowledge. These are achieved by organising our Congress and supporting courses and networking events; publishing specialist journals; building capacity; supporting our Member Societies; and creating visibility through projects such as the European Academy for Microbiology (EAM).

We give grants and support to organisations working towards a world in which no one is excluded from participating in, or benefitting from, the advancement of technology and its role in progress.

Christ for all Nations holds evangelistic events and preaches the good news of Jesus Christ.

An independent source of information and support to voluntary and community organisations, through being an independent voice, providing information and training, running conferences and fairs, undertaking research projects and providing books and websites on topics of interest to the voluntary and community sectors. DSC also runs the Annual Social Change Awards.

Collaboration of data and knowledge across public and private organisations to strengthen humanity's ability to predict, prevent, respond to and mitigate outbreaks, epidemics and pandemics, and improve humanity's relationship with endemic infectious disease. The Charity has been set up in response to the current and ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.

The Charity receives applications for grants from various parties and assesses them against various criteria which, if met, result in the awarding of funds to support those works and ministries.

The Apax Foundation has continued to focus the majority of its giving on organisations which work in the areas of social enterprise, relief of financial hardship and the advancement of education.

Grant making

The Foundation aims to provide grants towards: relieving poverty, especially in urban areas; advancing and improving education, particularly for disadvantaged women and children in impoverished areas; and various other charitable endeavours at the discretion of the trustees. Applications for funding are by invitation only and we are unable to respond to unsolicited proposals.

MapAction is a humanitarian mapping charity that works through skilled volunteers.
