In and around Llantwit Major we try and brighten up the town with floral displays of various kinds eg flower beds, areas with spring bulbs etc. We also provide bi annual grants for the local businesses to encourage them to have window boxes, hanging baskets, tubs etc to help make the town a more attractive and welcoming place for residents and visitors a like.

PUBLIC SPEAKING, COMPETITIONS,FUND RAISING.SOCIAL EVENTS

We run workshops and courses for adults/parents to learn new skills. The children have accessed healthy eating workshops with outside agencies. Children of the school access The Pantry to take part in weekly cooking sessions and have invited parents in to join them to eat the meals they have cooked. We hold weekly coffee and catch up for families and have recently started dad's pop in sessions.

PROVISION OF VILLAGE HALL FACILITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY

The preservation and protection of good health by the provision of eye care and medical outreach services in the Tororo District of Uganda. To advance the education of the public in Tororo by the provision of library services. To advance the education of the public in the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas regarding health and education in Uganda.

Dispense donations as applicable - to young individuals or organisations in the Llantwit Major area from funds held from sale of property kindly donated by the Llantwit Youth Club.

We hold Christian worship services. A coffee morning, open to all ages and areas. A computer class, tutored by the college at large. A craft, card making class for all ages and both sexes.

Raises funds to provide specialised equipment & workshops for the New Horizon Day Service clients and also to provide social functions for them throughout the year.

Local history research. Maintenance of local history archive. Organising lectures and trips for members. Publication of local guides and books on local history.

To advance the education of the general public by promoting the study of the history of Cowbridge and district by publication of books and material, a programme of lectures and preservation of documents

Management of Village Hall left in trust to village in 1975. Provides community focal point for social activities, and also maintains fabric of hall.

Management and fundraising for the Llancarfan & district community hall.

Breast cancer support group for anyone who is having or has had treatment for breast cancer. We meet once a month in Cardiff and once a month in Barry. We also organised weekly walks and ad hoc events.

Our charity runs a club for adults over 18 years with learning disabilities. We meet on the second Monday of the month in a church hall in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan. We are a social club and our activities include arts and crafts, singing, keep-fit, visits to local places of interest.

A programme of lectures in French (normally about 6 lectures per year); cultural and social evenings (normally about 7 per year); organised visits in France and the United Kingdom.

Choral singing

To advance the education of students from Cardiff and the Vale attending Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre by supporting the work and development of the Centre through: 1) Providing financial assistance to individuals and groups from Cardiff and the Vale where charges are prohibitive and , 2) Assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment.

Organize Harp courses and Harp Festivals in Wales to promote the harp and maintain high standards of playing.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit in Peterston Super Ely by providing and maintaining a community multi use games area in the heart of the village and working to increase uptake of sports by the community.

The primary activities of the charity shall be fundraising via events including, but not restricted to, an annual fireworks display. Funds raised shall be distributed by way of grants and donations to charities and good causes in Cardiff and the surrounding geographic areas.
