Providing donated furniture to the poorest in the community.

To provide entertainment, educational and cultural support for the senior citizen members of the association in Penarth and the immediate area.

In and around Llantwit Major we try and brighten up the town with floral displays of various kinds eg flower beds, areas with spring bulbs etc. We also provide bi annual grants for the local businesses to encourage them to have window boxes, hanging baskets, tubs etc to help make the town a more attractive and welcoming place for residents and visitors a like.

PUBLIC SPEAKING, COMPETITIONS,FUND RAISING.SOCIAL EVENTS

We run workshops and courses for adults/parents to learn new skills. The children have accessed healthy eating workshops with outside agencies. Children of the school access The Pantry to take part in weekly cooking sessions and have invited parents in to join them to eat the meals they have cooked. We hold weekly coffee and catch up for families and have recently started dad's pop in sessions.

PROVISION OF VILLAGE HALL FACILITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY

The provision of a museum for the advancement of pubic education, comprising the existing collection together with other exhibits or items that may from time to time be comprised in the trust fund. To preserve these objects as a collection.To support other organisations with similar objectives.

GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES INCLUDE OVERSEAS AID AND FAMINE RELIEF. ALSO TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE AND THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. WE ALSO HELP OTHER CHARITIES

We hold Christian worship services. A coffee morning, open to all ages and areas. A computer class, tutored by the college at large. A craft, card making class for all ages and both sexes.

Offers financial assistance to churches in the Dioceses of Llandaff and Monmouth for the maintenance and improvement of bell installations

Riding therapy

To advance the education of women, so as to enable them to make the best contribution towards the common good.To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for such women in the interests of social welfare and with a view to improving thier conditions of life.

Local history research. Maintenance of local history archive. Organising lectures and trips for members. Publication of local guides and books on local history.

Sustainable Wales promotes and encourages sustainable development through practical projects, consultancy services, information, advice and support. SW also create resources and publications, offer project managment, training, facilitation and group development.

Management of Village Hall left in trust to village in 1975. Provides community focal point for social activities, and also maintains fabric of hall.

Management and fundraising for the Llancarfan & district community hall.

Breast cancer support group for anyone who is having or has had treatment for breast cancer. We meet once a month in Cardiff and once a month in Barry. We also organised weekly walks and ad hoc events.

A programme of lectures in French (normally about 6 lectures per year); cultural and social evenings (normally about 7 per year); organised visits in France and the United Kingdom.

Our charity runs a club for adults over 18 years with learning disabilities. We meet on the second Monday of the month in a church hall in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan. We are a social club and our activities include arts and crafts, singing, keep-fit, visits to local places of interest.
