Barry Beavers disabled swimming club is a long established organisation offering Halliwick qualified instruction in water techniques to people with varying disabilitites of all agesOur helpers also receive training in techniques for helping disabled swimmers, members also help in the poolThe club is affiliated to The Halliwick organisation which governs swimming clubs for the disabled

The Chamber Music festival provides several concerts a year at a Festival usually at the end of March. They also give a "friends of the Festival" special concert at the end of the year.During the year the artists visit local primary schools and care homes to give presentations and educational experiences to children and elderly people. The Penarth Civic Society focuses on the heritage, people and future development of Penarth.The Society was founded in 1988 after a group of people who wanted to save the old Baths Building from redevelopment started a campaign to save it for the town.The aims of that group have expanded to include the preservation and enhancement of all aspects of our heritage and environment.
