We assist people of Afro/Caribbean descent, refugees etc integrate positively into British society. In recognition of the interconnectedness of UK's diverse communities, we extended our services to Asian and other communities.We offer skills training, consultancy,citizenship, diversity, social/micro enterprise, parenting and counselling. We also initiate projects which promote community cohesion.

The promotion of temperance on a Christian basis.

The charity primarily provides bursaries for pupils at Prospect House School, and is permitted toprovide funding for improvements, resources, and specialised teaching posts at the school. It is alsopermitted to provide financial and any other type of support for such charities or for such charitablepurposes as the trustees in their absolute discretion determine.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of the art of music, particularly brass band music, in and around Fulham and the UK more generally, through:a) the operation of an amateur brass band;b) facilitating the musical education of band members;c) the presentation of public performances;

Historically the Charity provided a Village Hall. This became unviable, was sold, and the assets of the Charity are now being used in other ways, for the benefit of the parishioners.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

The Charity continues to monitor the condition of the Putney Lower Common Cemetery in the hope of providing funds for any future restoration

The Cardiac Exercise Club provides supervised exercise facilities to BACPR standards for anybody who has or has had circulatory problems(CHD, heart bypass, stroke or carotid artery surgery etc),COPD, or diabetes and wishes to extend the benefits of their treatment. The aims are to prevent a return to hospital and improve the health and ongoing quality of life of our members..

The object of the charity is to relieve, in cases of need, persons resident in the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Wandsworth who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Religious activities.

Scout group with Beaver, Cub and Scout packs. Being on the tow-path of the Thames at Putney there is an emphasis on water based activities.

PRVIDING EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

School PTA raises money for local, national and international charities together with donations to the school.

Grants made to St James the Great School to provide additional resources. Support has been given to enable additional provision to be provided for disadvantaged families to enable them to have access to a wide range of extra curricula provision.

The charity will promote, support and facilitate the continued creative development of the principles of Outreach and Partnership (O&P) education programmes between state and independent schools.Partnerships involve independent and state schools working together based on collaboration and cooperation to provide education and development opportunities to all pupils and staff involved.

Battersea Befriending Network (BBN) offers one-to-one befriending to individuals who have experience of mental ill-health in the Borough of Wandsworth who are, or are at risk of becoming, socially excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of their mental ill-health.

Wandsworth Preparatory School PTA

(1)Organising a number of fundraising events with the dual purpose of developing relationships between staff and parents and raising funds to provide:(2)Donations to the school to enable certain activities to take place and for the purchase of equipment.

Comedy Fund-raising event to raise money for the an African School the School supports and to send a group of 6th Formers on a house building project to Cambodia5. Donation of 4 outdoor benches

It is intended that the All Star Youth Tennis Scholarship Trust will benefit many young people connected to the borough of Wandsworth showing significant promise in their ability to play tennis without sufficient parental financial means. The Trust is currently focusing on high performance training sessions and a Schools Outreach and Development Program for local school children in Wandsworth.

THE OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, INCLUDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION, NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.

Our Society embraces Battersea as a great place to live and work. We celebrate Battersea's past, support its present and promote its future. We run a programme of walks, talks, social events, visits and exhibitions and our rebranded website includes an online shop selling Battersea-themed publications and wares. We publish a quarterly journal and a monthly e-newsletter.

To relieve the suffering and emotional distress amongst parents and families resident in the London Boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Wandsworth, Richmond, Kingston, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark, who have experienced the loss of a baby either before, at birth or shortly after birth, in particular but not exclusively by supporting such parents and families with small expenses.
