The principal activities of Love Streatham are organising events such as Action Days, Family Fun Day, recruiting volunteers for charity events and delivering local services, in order to provide relief for disadvantaged and needy residents in and around Streatham, promote social cohesion, and at the same time show God's love and advance the Christian faith.

The Balham-based Nightingale Walk organises an annual sponsored walk by the side of the Thames from Walton-On-Thames to Putney. The money raised is given as grants to charities and good causes in the local area.

We hold public talks on astronomy and related subjects in Central Croydon approximately every two weeks during school term time. Provide support and assist with funding for global humanitarian and community projects incl: Polio plus, mercy ships, wheelchair foundation, mosquito nets, group youth exchange, the education and book appeal Ghana, equipment for local and international hospitals, tree planting, special needs schools, awards for school achievers/young person of the year, kids out etc.

Grants to assist girls or women for education or training expenses after leaving primary school. Candidates must live in the Diocese of London, or the Diocese of Southwark within Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Wandsworth, a member of the Church of England, and a present or past pupil for not less than two years of a school wholly or partly maintained out of public funds.
