THE PINK PLACE IS A CANCER CHARITY BASED IN BASINGSTOKE AND COVERING THE NORTH HANTS AREA. WE OFFER FREE ADVICE, SUPPORT AND WELLBEING SERVICES TO ADULT CANCER PATIENTS FROM DIAGNOSIS UP TO 3 YEARS OF TREATMENT ENDING. WE HAVE THE SUPPORT OF THE HANTS HOSPITALS NHS FOUNDATION TRUST. OUR SERVICES INCLUDE, COUNSELLING, MASSAGE & REFLEXOLOGY, HAIR/SKIN/NAIL ADVICE, WELLBEING AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

BACC provides sanctuary for animals that cannot live in traditional domesticity due to behavioural or medical problems and animals that have been abandoned or mistreated. BACC focusses on educating the public on the management, behaviour and training of animals as well as managing their physical and mental wellbeing. BACC provides a safe space for people to connect with animals.

Through Talks and media we encourage children and adults to care for their environment and reduce the use of pesticides. To provide horse riding lessons as a therapy to disabled children and young people for the benefit and improvement of their wellbeing. The charity operates a riding stable in Hampstead Norreys, Berkshire for the sole use of disabled riders. Weekly riding lessons are provided to children from special needs schools and units from Newbury and the surrounding area of West Berkshire.

The Newbury Historical Study Association is dedicated to the promotion of education in military history. It aims to organise educational events on military history subjects involving talks by individuals who are recognised as experts in the subject-matter, and by post-graduates who have carried out academic research in a range of different subjects relating to military history.
