We are a drop in centre serving food to the homeless and vulnerable in the Newbury area. The preparation and serving of meals is our main function but we also provide groceries, tins, toiletries, clothes and bedding to those in need. It is also a place where people can socialise. Each year Lincoln College Vacation Project runs two/three week long holidays for children living in the Oxford area who are involved with social services in order to give them a break from whatever difficulties they may be experiencing and an opportunity to try new things.

Undertaking voluntary work and related activities for the benefit of people who are elderly, sick or disabled or who are otherwise in need within the Town and Rural District of Hungerford.To offer advice and guidance to people willing to undertake voluntary service. Assist them in the provision of voluntary work putting them in touch with individual/statutory organisations seeking helpers.

RFC prepares and performs 3 - 4 concerts each year for the community. We conduct open workshops on major choral works. In the past RFC has performed in conjunction with other choruses including an area children's choir and a German chorus from Dusseldorf.

A peer based support group for military veterans and current/former emergency service personnel. Training regularly in to national fire service standards in all skills. The charity also provides Fire cover to a wide range of community events/festivals focusing on pubic safety, education and engagement across the South East and further afield if requested.

Charitable donations to The Young, The Elderly, Health Care and Animals in the areas of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

The Society rehearses weekly under the direction of a professional musical director in order to achieve a high standard of performance. It performs a series of public concerts at venues in the Reading area. It also organises an annual competition for Young Musicians and joint events with other musical societies.

Management of the Village Hall and recreation ground for the benefit of the residents of the Parish and neighbouring areas.

1st Wash Common Scout Group provide a balanced programme of activities for children aged six to fourteen. The programme aims to develop the young people physically, mentally and spiritually. Scouting is based on learning through play and exciting activities.

The Silvers Workshop provides a workshop with wood and metal-working tools where older men can come to make and mend things and socialise and enjoy the camaraderie of work without the pressures. We are based in Reading in Berkshire and membership is available to men in the vicinity of Reading, Wokingham, West Berkshire and Bracknell Forest.

The promotion of healthy recreation and sports for children and young adults up to the age of 21 years old in Wiltshire and the neighbouring counties, by making grants and awards to individuals, community clubs and organisations.

WE PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH MENTORING, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, LIFE-SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELLING, COACHING, IN-SCHOOL PROJECTS AND HOLIDAY PROVISIONS.

Supporting refugees and asylum seekers in West Berkshire, The support includes working in partnership with the local authority and other charities and agencies who are working locally. We also signpost to other organisations who can provide appropriate information, advice and support.

The purpose of the charity is to raise funds for the poor and needy and to provide relief by giving service in the form of help and support to the local community and to a certain extent nationally and internationally.

Founded in 1922 as the Royal Aircraft Establishment Orchestral Society, the Farnborough Symphony Orchestra has a long history of performing a varied programme of orchestral music to a high standard in the local community. It presents four concerts each season under a professional conductor, often featuring young soloists at the outset of their careers.

The trustees have pursued the charities objectives during the period by actively seeking council grants , donations from both large organisations and individuals,village events such as golf day,quiz night,raffles and the match funding provided by the good exchange.

All parents of children attending St. Mark's CE Primary School in Cold Ash are automatically members of the School Association. A small number of volunteers drawn from this group are named Trustees who meet regularly to plan fundraising activities to benefit the school such as the Christmas Fayre, quiz nights, school discos, textile collections and the Summer Fete.
