The Charity gives money to individual people or organisations providing they reside in the civil parish of Shaw Cum Donnington. The Trustees only donate money if it is a deserving case. The Charity advertises on notice boards in the parish and the Church magazine.

The object of the charity is for the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Aldermaston and the local area by the provision of facilities for playing cricket.

The preservation and restoration for the public benefit of windmills and watermills (in particular but not exclusively in Hampshire) which are deemed worthy of preservation and restoration and are of particular historical or architectural interest.To advance the education of the public in windmills, watermills and milling.

Provide open space for recreation and allotments for cultivation to parisioners of Cold Ash

The Charities objectives as set out in its Governing docuement are : for and towards the repair and maintenance of the ancient Parish Church of Enborne. This encompasses not only the physical structure of the Church, but also the Parish Community, to ensure that the Church remains a central point for the Community.

Families

Ten sixteenths of the income received is used to augment the Income of Thatcham Parochial Almshouse Charity, the remainder going to augment the Church Estates Charity administered by PCC Thatcham.

Organises day schools and visits to historic archives, publishes local history research and provides contacts between local history societies in Berkshire.

To promote and further the musical education of children attending The Hurst Community College, Baughurst, Hampshire

Providing, maintaining and managing an open space and recreational area for the use and benefit of the residents of Curridge.

Advanced Driving coaching

As one of the groups within the Berkshire Federation (BFWI) Chieveley WI meet in the Village Hall. We have varied interesting speakers and members' evenings, and we arrange coffee mornings, picnics, walks and pub lunches, outings and theatre trips. Our involvement in village events provide a range of activities for members and friends, working together through the NFWI organisation.

Environmental interpretation in the field for educational groups and members of the general public. We publish booklets with landscape themes, based on a walk in areas of interest. Our booklets are sold from our web-site website www.thematic-trails.org. and through outlets in selected areas of particular interest. We also market selected booklets published by like-minded organisations.

Provision of free football coaching, Pop Up Cafe and Youth Club activities in and around Newbury. Our mission is to help people, especially the young, to fufill their God-given potential.

Helping individuals under 25 to obtain qualifications to advance their careers. Grants are received by both Parish and Church Councils and are submitted to the Anglican incumbent.

Providing transport for the elderly, lonely and those in need enabling them to attend medical appointments, dentists, chiropodists etc . We also provide lunch clubs twice a month and keep in touch with other organisations involved in similar work.

This charity exists in order to improve the facilities within St Gregory's church, the parish church of Welford with Wickham, near Newbury in west Berkshire. Improved facilities are needed to create and promote the use of the church building for the benefit of the local community as a meeting place, a venue for concerts, theatre and arts events as well as providing a more comfortable environment.

Charity collections through Masonic meetings and raffles for onward donation to just causes as voted by the members.

Cursillo is a movement of the Church, providing a method by which Christians are empowered to grow through prayer, study and action and enabled to share Gods love with everyone.
