To further the mission, both pastorally and socially, of the church in the Parish of Steyning.

We hire rooms for all kinds of uses: Adult Education, U3A, exercise classes, art & theatre classes as well as yoga, karate, pilates, weight watchers, blood donations, childrens activities, parties, wedding receptions etc. We also have monthly and ad hoc dances. weekly markets & monthly Art & Craft Fairs.

The Royal Artillery Equestrian Centre, based on Thorney Island, focuses to provide physical rehabilitation for wounded & injured service personnel, veterans and those within the local community. We initiate and further advance confidence, empowerment & self-awareness that help support those who experience anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions.

Provision of Pre school facilities

The Area Meeting holds regular Meetings for Worship open to all members of the public in eight locations within its area. It supports a variety of charitable activities within its area and beyond, as determined by its members as part of their Quaker witness.

The Sussex MS Treatment Centre provides therapies and support for those living with neurological conditions, principally multiple sclerosis

Re-homing and care of homeless or unwanted animals and rescue of lost or injured animals. This is achieved through the maintenance of an animal re-homing shelter.

TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENTS OF THE PAEDIATRIC INTENSIVE CARE UNIT AT UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL SOUTHAMPTON BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY).
