Day retreats and group for carers. Meditation courses designed for coping with depression and chronic pain. Open days and arts events. Celebration of Buddhist festivals. Cancer United is a cancer support charity for all those whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosisIt aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of cancer patients from diagnosis onwards and those close to them through its active recovery clubs which provide a whole variety of social engagements, its choir and via CU Fitter a cancer specific exercise programme

To provide affordable childcare in a rural community and to enhance and foster the developement and education of children under school age in a setting that encourages parental involvement.

The Trustees have continued their policy of mainly supporting charities active in the fields of care for young and older people, health, education and religion.

Production and provision of audio editions of local newspapers to visually impaired. Production and provision of audio magazines to visually impaired. Facilities also used to convert written data to audio versions for other local charities, e.g. East Sussex Association for the Blind, Care for the Carers, etc.

Promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church. This includes regular services of worship and serving our community in various diverse ways.

Sackville College is a beautiful Jacobean almshouse which provides accommodation for local elderly people of limited means. The flats are comfortable, warm, safe and secure. There is a strong community spirit. The college is not supported by the Government and relies on fundraising events, visitors, donations and a very low weekly charge for its income.

Fishbourne Pre-School Ltd is a charitable company, limited by guarantee, incorporated on 23rd October 2003. The purpose of the company is to offer appropriate play, education and care facilites for all children from two and a half years to the age of 5 whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

The production and performance of plays and to encourage adults and juniors to become involved in all aspects of theatre, for the benefit of the local community and beyond.
