Provision of bursaries for girls up to the age of entry to university

The charity seeks to advance the Christian religion by way of a Christian book shop for the sale of Christian books, magazines, music and related products.

The principal activity of the centre is to operate the Fernhurst Centre at 2 Crossfield Fernhurst, providing computer/IT, cafe and education facilities and courses for the benefit of the community.

Provision of religious and educational services for the communities

The provision of facilities and Leaders to enable an active and varied programme of events and training to facilitate a high standard of Scouting to boys, girls and young adults.

Relieving and assisting children and young persons resident in East and West Sussex who are in need of care and attention by reason of being deprived of a normal home life, with a preference for girls

Regular public worship. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity Participating in assemblies in schools. Provision of activities with a Christian ethos for young people. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through provision of activities for all. Supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

PCC of St Mary de Haura- Promoting in the parish , the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical through regular public worship which is open to all, and by providing a quiet space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work visiting the sick bereaved and care homes.

Provides a place of worship, generally advances and educates people about religion. Provides pastoral care and outreach. All within the Christianity of the Church of England.

Religious activities

The presentation of orchestral concerts, workshops and other educational/outreach projects to help to bring music into the lives of the general public.

East Grinstead and District Lions Club (CIO) operates in the East Grinstead and surrounding areas in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, raising funds though activities by organising local events such as our May fair, Donkey Derby, Swim Night and selling secondhand books at the local Railway stations. These funds are then used to mainly provide grants for the benefit of those in need in the local community.

We provide a number of charitable services to homeless and rough sleepers including running street kitchens to provide food and clothing. We currently run 7 days a week giving volunteers a chance to work together on these projects. Since March 2020 the first Covid-19 lock down we stepped up our services, this was made possible by extra vounteers over 300 and support from businesses and groups.

The promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England and the promotion, in the ecclesiastical parish, of the whole mission of the Church - pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Our primary function is the purchase of essential life saving equipment for the neurosurgeons at Hurstwood Park Hospital, Haywards Heath.

We are a generalist counseling service, open to all, providing support to the community of Worthing.

Our primary objective is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrine and practice of the Church of England, and our aim is to be a vibrant community Church with a welcoming heart sharing Christ's love by serving the Parish of Fishbourne and beyond.

Provides affordable costume hire, educational resource boxes and practical assistance to: schools/ colleges, community/ youth groups, charities/ not for profit organisations, amateur/ fringe arts. Delivers a Community Outreach Programme of educational sewing-based workshops; interactive storytelling / reminiscence/ dressing-up activities. Promotes costume re-use, by re-styling or rehoming.

The Community Centre opened in October 2009. It will be a multi purpose building and we are looking to provide a variety of sport, exercise classes, recreational (including dance classes)and educational activities - informal interest groups and more formal adult education classes.

Promotion and financial support of Symphony Concerts by Worthing Symphony Orchestra and other public musical events in furtherance of its objectives to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music. Concerts could not be held for a long period due to Covid but have now resumed

The historic Gardens are maintained for the enjoyment of the public, for the growth and propagation of trees and plants, for the furtherance of the study and science of botany, and for the promotion of the conservation of nature, especially those rarer species of plants and trees in danger of loss of cultivation.

The Church has continued to minister in terms of teaching, preaching and pastoral care.This includes reaching out to the elderly, the youth and those in need with both spiritual and practical support.The Church has strong links with other Churches in Bognor Regis and some links with the surrounding villages.

The Congregations declared purpose is to undertake any charitable work in Great Britian including giving service to the parish, instruction to the youth and providing care for the sick and poor.
