Village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Southbourne without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

Our primary objective is to provide hall accommodation & services wherever possible for the benefit of the local community and others who may wish to use the facilities available on the basis of hire charges.

Gives financial help to people over 60 years and in need of care and attention and comfort and unable through straightened circumstances to make provision for themselves. Gives to other charities for the benefit of such people. Restricted area south of South Downs centred on Chichester.

A new village hall is was completed in December 2022. It provides a range of community and individual activities based on the wishes of villagers as documented in the 2014 village survey. The hall is also available for private functions at reasonable rates (with discounts for local residents)

School PTA to support equipment and extra activities for pupils at Kingslea Primary School. The charity holds various functions and activities throughout the year to raise money such as a Christmas and summer fayre, quiz night, discos and parties.

The provision of community space for local groups and organisations. Facilities for family celebrations, wedding receptions etc. Hub for supporting social, educational and wellbeing improvement within the community

Football training for year groups u6's to u16's in the local area of Ashurst Wood

Raising money to support the education of children at Heron Way School with regular events including Summer Fete & Christmas Bazaar

To relieve women who are in need of financial assistance in sickness, convalescence or old age of themselves, their spouses or dependents

The Havant Orchestras aim to perform to the highest standards an extensive range of orchestral music.

Our activities include: - cookery activities which build practical skills, healthy eating and budgeting knowledge alongside confidence and social connections- community gardening groups where growing food connects people together and increases physical activity levels and fruit & veg intake- support and advice for people struggling to afford a healthy diet

Membership has increased during the past year and the number of active groups has also grown. We continue, despite the restrictions of COVID concerns, with our aim of increasing the learning and leisure activities of the retired members of our area and also to offer opportunities for sharing the various skills of our members.
