The objects of the Friends is the provision of, or assistance in the provision of, facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation in order to improve in particular the conditions of life for the Residents of the Shannon Court Home and or relief of poverty and sickness among the elderly.

We provide training & admin support to boys through the companies in our Battalion, assisting them to further the object of the Boys' Brigade which is:-The advancement of Christ's kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of, obedience, reverence, discipline, self respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.Annual holiday & camp are run for Junior & Company sections

The Harting Community Hall

The objective of the Charity is to advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public by fostering spiritual development in particular through the practice of prayer, devotional work and devotional learning. The Charity is takingpractical steps towards setting up a Christian Community at the Great Barn on the Wiston Estate in West Sussex.

MEET EVERY SUNDAY EVENING FOR WORSHIP AND TEACHING; HOUSE GROUP MEETINGS DURING THE WEEK; PRAYER MEETING EVERY TUESDAY, SUPPORT VARIOUS LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES AND CHURCHES, PROVIDE PRACTICAL SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.

Arranges annual festivals of English Cathedral Music with four to five days of services and concerts based around the daily liturgy, based alternately in Chichester, Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals.

The charity runs and maintains the village hall for use by the local and wider community.

The object of the charity is to protect and conserve the wildlife and natural environment of the Slipper Mill Pond, which is located in the Parish of Southbourne, West Sussex, for the benefit and quiet enjoyment of the public. Much of the maintenance of the pond infrastructure is achieved by volunteers, but larger projects require contractors to carry out the work.

Organizing fundraising events (in the past year a Christmas Fair and Quiz Night) to provide facilities and equipment for the pupils at Pennthorpe School. Organizing other events (in the past year school disco) to foster more extended relations between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. From time to time other charities are also supported.
