THE 1ST BROADBRIDGE HEATH SCOUT GROUP IS IN OPERATION TO PROVIDE ACCESS FOR ALL INTERESTED CHILDREN IN THE AREA TO THE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES PROVIDED BY THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A PROGRAMME OF EVENTS AND TO UPKEEP OUR PREMISES WE UNDERTAKE SEVERAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS DURING THE YEAR.

Fund raising for the benefit of Plaistow and Kirdford Primary school

Indoor sports activities, including football, badminton, dodgeball, basketball. hockey, handball, volleyball, sponge attack, stinger, tug of war and many more.Also in the club we have a full size snnooker table, pool table, table football, many table tennis tables, darts, big screen televsion.

Provision and maintenance of a public park for the enjoyment of the inhabitants of Burgess Hill and Mid Sussex district.

The charitable purposes of the U3A are to advance education of people not in full time gainful employment.We have monthly meetings with interesting speakers. We organise trips out to various places. We facilitate interest groups which are considered to be the life blood of the U3A. We benefit local older people through the range of activities that we provide.

The Romanian Aid Foundation is a UK registered charity providing humanitarian aid to the north-east of Romania.We are working with Romanian people to bring Help to the needy, Hope through the Christian message and Co-operation through joint ventures.

Choices Advocacy provides independent advocacy and advocacy related services ie Person Centred Planning to children and young people, adults with a learning disability, older people, vulnerable, socially excluded people in Southampton and across Southern Hampshire. Independent Advocacy empowers and enables vulnerable people to speak up and have their views and wishes heard.

The aim of Scouting is to help young people (age 6 upwards) achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. We meet weekly and provide a fun way for children to make new friends and enjoy an exciting programme of activities.

Giving grants to young people where appropriate, helping their personal development and community awareness; adults with specific needs and local charities in the Horsham area of West Sussex. Supporting national and international aid in disaster relief.

Activities relating to scouting ie Hikes, camping, climbing, Faith, environment, for all children from the age of 6 to 14yrs. This encourages their own personal development and instil skills that make them a valuable asset to the community.

TO HAVE AVAILABLE A HALL AND FACILITIES FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES WHICH INCLUDES DANCE TEACHING, EXERCISE CLASSES, THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS, MONTHLY CHURCH SERVICE, RESIDENTS MEETINGS, EDUCATIONAL CLASSES.

Promotion of the holy rosary as a means to bring peace and personal comfort to suffering people. Correspondence maintained supporting prisoners, the sick, the fearful. Shipments of donated aid and church items to assist diocesan schools and hospitals in the third world. Support of local homeless has increased to help with increased numbers.

To provide assisted horse riding opportunities to disabled adults

Grants for the repair and maintenance of churches in the counties of West Sussex and East Sussex.

To advance the education of the public and in particular, young people in Worthing and Adur, in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. The charity's members will be principally schools with whom it will be working closely in relation to projects and activities, working also with partner organisations with relevant environmental objects.

FISHBOURNE WEST SUSSEX

To Promote and advance the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts by means of lectures and visits to private houses, museums, exhibitions and other places of interest to members of the society. The Society also is active in The Art's Society Young Arts programme with local schools and the award of prizes to young artists of merit

The charity's principal activities are the once-a-week rehearsals in preparation for and the giving of public performances of major classic choral works on three occasions, normally Christmas and Easter and summer, every year. Occasionally, concerts support fundraising appeals by other charities.

Further religion by the provision and maintenance of a church hall to be used for any religious and charitable purpose calculated to promote the spiritual moral intellectual and physical improvement or welfare or the reasonable recreational advantage or benefit of the parishioners and worshippers of the Church of St Mary's at Clymping or other persons.
