Supporting the advancement of the Buddhist religion through a programme of classes and events, both for regular members of our group as well as for newcomers from the local community and others, the Triratna West Kent Buddhist Group provides an understanding of Buddhism.

CA Sussex CIO is a group of men and women who work together to solve their common problem, the illness of addiction. Our primary purpose is to stay free from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances, and to help others achieve the same freedom. The means by which we recover is a 12 step programme of recovery.

The Memorial Hall provides an inexpensive venue for local activities, especially for minor sports and other activities for elderly people. It is used by many local clubs and societies.

Our income is raised from local fundraising events and from members donations. We support local charities-the elderly locally-the young locally and local people with disabilities. We also make small donations to national charities who provide speakers at our meetings. We make donations to rotary charities.

We organise concerts and an open mike event featuring music in Cuckfield.

Managing Shrubbs Field, Middleton-on-Sea

FEPJS raise extra funds to support EPJS. We raise money by holding discos, ice cream sales, Christmas and summer events.

Provide a building for the residents of the area to join in various activities on a regular basis. The classes held include keep fit, fitness league, carpet bowls, bingo, fun nights, coach trips, yoga pilates

We are a Scout Group providing fun/sporting activities for children from 6 to 14. Three main groups meet weekly over 3 terms. Beaver group, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. We operate according the Scout Association's rules.

(1) to provide facilities to enable disabled people to partake in various forms of winter sports;(2) to train, so that disabled people may acquire the skill so to participate;(3) to provide financial assistance to enable disabled people to participate in all the activities of the Charity or of its Affiliate Members;(4) to do all such things as will further the above objects.

We exist to promote the welfare of the children of St Robert Southwell School in home, school and community. We assist and support the school staff by working in cooperation with them to further their vision for the school.

Mens's Shed Horsham provides an opportunity for people to interact in a work-like environment for the benefit of themselves and the wider community through activities such as the fabrication of items in wood or metal for communal use.

PARENT AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOOL AND ORGANISE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Chantry Quire performs approximately three to four concerts per year. All performances offer the generalpublic the chance to advance their education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music. The group does approximately 20-25 rehearsals per year, which allow the members topractise their individual skills and improve and hone the standard of the group and performance.

Provision of five chamber music concerts per season (October-March), by professional musicians, for members of the society and non members who can buy a ticket for individual concerts.

The Brighton Chamber Choir is a mixed voice choir of about 30 members. It performs three to four concerts a year, which may include a concert raising funds for a charitable organisation.

Support relief of deprivation or disability by registered charities in West Sussex, in the area between Worthing, Chichester and Horsham, and in the London Boroughs of Merton and Hounslow. Typical grant is in the low £1000s. Applicants must have appropriate policies. Individuals are not directly supported. Trustees meet twice yearly.
