The SHM Foundation works globally to bring about positive social change through projects in the areas of learning and citizenship, health, education and the arts with the aim to provide communities and individuals with the practical tools they need to develop innovative solutions. The Charity aims to provide sports and leisure facilities for all of the inhabitants of Henfield and its local parishes.

During the year 2014/15 the Trust's primary focus was the continued development of East Clayton Farm - accommodation and farm for people and families affected by disabilities and homelessness (including poverty and social exclusion).

Kangaroos Mid Sussex provides a wide variety of leisure and recreational opportunities for people with learning disabilities and additional needs, based in the Mid Sussex area. The organisation has been in existence since 1994, previously known as Kangaroos charity no 1041988 which changed when the charity became incorporated in 2013.

Religious Activities

The charity provides and maintains a hospital and other facilities to enable the care, treatment and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wild birds and mammals. The aim is to relieve the suffering of wild animals in need of care and attention and in particular, the successful return and release of healthy birds and mammals into their natural habitats.

The charity's main objective is to advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of the art of film. It achieves this through the screening of films from all over the world, including classic and popular films and by delivering an outreach and education programme working with and supporting the local area through community support and study programmes.

The object of the League is to relieve patients of the Worthing Hospitals and to support the work of the said Hospitals by the provision of medical equipment and facilities for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors. The League runs a shop, a trolley shop and cafe at Worthing Hospital as part of its primary charitable activites.

The Carers Centre for Brighton & Hove takes a holistic approach to all its work, considering the needs of carers, and those they care for. Core activities include information and advice giving, advocacy work, emotional support, one to one casework, support groups and activities for both adult carers and young carers.

HIVE Portsmouth works in partnership with local people, groups and organisations to improve the well-being of people in Portsmouth. We support the development of voluntary and community groups, social enterprise, volunteering and social action. We provide information to guide people to the right support at the right time, enabling early intervention, independence and resilience.
