We are an educational group promoting the use and enjoyment of keyboard instruments by means of monthly concerts by professional musicians and the opportunity for members to play before an audience of other club members. Also offering advice on playing techniques and interpretation.

The charity makes financial grants to conservation and welfare charities as approved by the Trustees.

FUNDRAISING FOR BIRDHAM SCHOOL

The support and benefit of sporting activities on the village and parish of Angmering in the County of Sussex and the provision of facilites for recreation and leisure time in the interest of social welfare

I ) For the public benefit to protect & conserve the natural and built environmentof Hurstpierpoint & surrounding area.2)To provide practical financial support by way of donations from the charityto such charitable causes or bodies as the executive committee may from time to time determine.

Support the school and raise funds to provide the school and children with extra facilities for which the school budget does not allow.

Youth Club catering for boys & girls age group 9 - 16 years covering Plaistow village & surrounding area.

Fund raising by parents and friends of the school to purchase special equipment and towards school trips and special projects.

The Charity administers the land and buildings of St Giles CofE Primary School, Horsted Keynes, West Sussex, in order to provide a place of education.

__The object of the charity is to provide financial support to those who paticipate in Association Football as members of Clubs affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association Ltd.

For the purposes of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Redford and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

As well as their concert work, Meridian Winds is always delighted to play for local community based festivals and welcomes enquiries from organisers. We also work closely with local schools and colleges, encouraging young musicians to enjoy their music making and broadening their knowledge of this very accessible medium through workshops and concerts.

Riding opprtunities for children and adults with disabilities

The objects of the charity are to advance the education of the public in all their forms, particularly by the organisation of an arts festival. The May 2013 Festival offered "festivals within the festival" and over 100 different performances, displays and workshops were available, many of which were at no charge to the participants.
