Conducting regular services of worship plus conducting marriages, funerals and services of infant dedication as required. Work within the local community (parent/toddler group, craftshare, singing groups). Liaison with/support of Christian charities with similar objectives.

Teaching of Finnish language and culture, excursions, social events

GMBHCA celebrates Hindu Cultural, Social and Religious festivals that include Durga puja, Lakshmi puja, Kali puja, Saraswati puja and organises cultural /activities such as Bijoya Sammilani, Bengali New Year and other functions which include classical dances, music and dramas involving the younger generation and guest artists of the community. It also organises educational trips to various places.

The aim is to promote amateur theatre in and across the greater manchester area together with updates of legal and national requirements, this involves approximately 60 societies.

The charity operates a place of worship used for the education of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the Public Benefit. It allows the premises to be used by the general public and other local organisations. The charity operates in the locality of Post Code M46 and is a member of the Independent Methodist Connexion of Churches.

We are a school for teaching Tamil language and culture for the public in Greater Manchester area. We conduct weekly Tamil languages classes for kids. We also conduct Music and Kalari (traditional martial arts) classes to adults and kids on a weekly basis.

We run dementia cafes one a month in Atherton library and most of our work at the moment is the distribution of our "guardian angels" (wristbands / key rings / bag tag / badge) to anyone living with dementia.

General charitable activities for Public benefits

The objects of the charity is to benefit sick needy persons resident within Lancs, Gr. Manchr, S. Cumbria, Liverpl and Sefton with up to 20% of the net yearly income being available for the benefit of retired district nursing staff who have worked in the same area. There is no restriction on the overall amount to benefit the sick needy. Application of amounts is at the discretion of the trustees.

Friends of Newfold engages in activities or provides facilities/equipments which support Orrell Newfold Primary School and advance the education of its pupils. It does this primarily by fundraising via events such as Summer Family Fun Day, Christmas Fair and Bake Sales.
