Pre School Education

Public worship Services on the Lord's Day; mid-week meetings for Bible study and prayer, open air preaching meetings; door-to-door distribution of Christian literature; evangelistic youth meetings. Public meetings on matters such as Biblical Christian living. Wedding and Funeral services. The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

All regular public worship is provided free of charge and open to all

Bringing about improvements in the quality of life of persons, who are recovering from, or are in treatment for a mental illness, or who have a physical or learning disability and other vulnerable people with special needs, in Salisbury and adjacent districts.

We provide play and learn sessions for children from two to five years of age in an educational and stimulating environment.

Our aims are to enhance the development & education of children under school age in a parent involving, community based group. We provide a safe, secure & stimulating environment & work within a framework that ensures equality of opportunity for all children & families.

The trustees strongly encourage potential applicants to study our website before making an application. The charity makes a wide range of charitable grants at the discretion of the trustees. Decisions are made by all the trustees. We make one off grants with no guarantees of future funding.

To relieve the effects of poverty and social deprivation in North Wiltshire by collecting unwanted furniture and domestic appliances and redistributing them to individuals and families who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.

Provision of transport for disabled disadvantaged and socially excluded

To hold an annual agricultural show and to promote agriculture by encouraging skill and industry in all its trades, crafts and professions connected with it, using the income generated from the activities to help support charitable causes.

The Oxford Transplant Foundation has launched a campaign to raise funds towards establishing an Institute of Transplantation in Oxford allowing clinical practice,research and patient care to work in harmony with each other and to enhance the facilities available for Transplant and Renal patients.

Weekly public Sunday services. Midweek meetings including activities for children, young people and older adults. Providing support to carers of young children, elderly or infirm adults and ad hoc outreach events for the local community. Providing leaders / teachers for church services in smaller local churches, leaders for school assemblies and financial support for other Christian charities.

We support young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity in Dorset, including Bournemouth and Poole. We also raise awareness of the challenges face by this group of young people to reduce incidences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

Move the Mind CIO (MtM) is a charity that supports children, young people and some young adults with learning difficulties using animals and horses in a therapeutic way. Move the mind have outstanding horses and other animals and are set in approximately 14 acres of beautiful Somerset farmland.

The provision of Warden assisted housing for those in need, with priority to those living in the districts of Salisbury and Wilton. The Charity maintains 19 units of accommodation.

We are a local charity, working with children, young people and their families in the Melksham community area. Pre-school education

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. The Wiltshire North District Scout Council supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across North Wiltshire to encourage the young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we support our members by providing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

UCARE (Urology Cancer Research and Education) is dedicated to advancing the treatment and care of people affected by urological cancers. We fund vital research into bladder, kidney, penile, prostate and testicular cancers, and promote education and awareness among healthcare professionals and the public to drive earlier diagnosis, better outcomes and improved patient support.

We are a church charity that exists for the advancement of the Christian faith and the worship of God in the South West region of the UK. The preaching and proclamation of the Christian gospel and teaching of Christian doctrine and principles and the pastoral care of Christian people. The relief of persons who are in a condition of need, hardship, distress or who are aged or sick.

To provide accessible and affordable community transport to a rural area of South Somerst. The transport is for eligble groups and individuals who are socially, economically or physically disadvantaged and to encorage greater community participation of these people and those who are geographically isolated.
