People Against Poverty has three aims:- to help break the cycle of poverty for the deprived of the world by empowering them to become self sufficient;- to partner with UK businesses in the fight against poverty;- to raise awareness of poverty so that people in the UK are better able to understand the situation of the world's poor.

To offer safe, professional and affordable counselling for the people of Wiltshire.To serve our local community by helping our clients to take greater control of their lives with a view to increased fulfilment, functioning and empowerment.

The Charity's membership constitutes a reserve of amateur actors and others involved in the production of plays and entertainments for the benefit of the locality. A theatre is available for outside productions as well as those of member's own.

Atwell Wilson Motor Museum maintains a collection of vehicles on display to promote public education, appreciation, knowledge and enjoyment. The arrangement of the vehicles and information displayed on each provide the public with the history, evolution and development of motor vehicles and their design, technology and accessories. Some vehicles have unique heritage and previous ownership.

Community activities such as Toddler Groups,a Youth club, exercise classes etc are held in the centre.A Community Pantry, warm space and chatty cafe is run weekly and a Nursery annexe for 2 year olds is housed in one of the small halls.The centre is well used for parties, community events and training purposes. Conferences have also been held in the main hall.

Little Cuckoos Pre School provides a friendly environment that nurtures and enables children to learn through play and support from our experienced staff.

Creating a more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for children and their families in hospital or at home.The charity works alongside specialists to purchase equipment and refurbish areas to support not just those children who because of illness or disability find themselves in hospital for treatment but also their families who want to be with them because time is just that precious.

Provides pre-school education for children aged between two years 6 months and five years.

Our aim is to promote the culture and heritage of our community whilst advancing any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community. We organise a series of community events in the second and third weeks of September each year around the Pewsey area targeted to provide something for all ages. Events include competitions, dances, races, talks and a Carnival first run in 1897.

Education of Preschool Children.Afterschool care for children aged 4 - 11

Families Out Loud gives relief and assistance to adults and young people (aged 13-17) in need in Wiltshire, who are actively affected by the misuse of, principally, alcohol and drugs, by a family member or friend by providing them with support, counselling and advice either in person or on-line.

Barn Owl Conservation. Barn Owl & bird of prey rescue, rehabilitation and welfare. Educating the general public, schools, young conservationists etc in the life and conservation of owls and birds of prey through visits, talks and flying activites.

Salisbury Plain Benefice Parochial Church Council organises and leads Church of England worship in the villages of Chitterne, Orcheston, Shrewton and Tilshead on Salisbury Plain

Pre-school education for children aged 2 - 5 years.

Regular public worship open to all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work. Teaching of Christianity. Religious assemblies in schools. Promotion of Christianity through events meetings and literature. Promoting mission of the Church through activities for senior citizens parents and toddlers and other groups. Soundwell's mission statement is: "To enhance the mental health of people experiencing emotional and mental distress by promoting and providing an inclusive, community-based service of music therapy which includes outreach, short and long term groups and individual work"Music therapy is the use of musical instruments and the sounds they make to promote change and recovery.

Woodlands Childcare provides childcare for children aged 2-11 in our pre-school and After school club. We provide quality childcare Monday to Friday Term time only.In the Pre-school children are given a range of learning opportunities, following the Early Years Foundation Guidance. In the After school club we allow children to choose their activities in a calm safe space.

To facilitate music-making activities for people of all ages living in the villages/towns of Wiltshire, through presenting and performing music. To promote the study and practice of music, especially in its social and co-operative forms. To conduct negotiations with any government, local, municipal or other authorities on matters affecting the study and practice of music in Wiltshire.

We provide support to children, young people and their families living in Wiltshire affected by bereavement.

Sport/recreation for general public, providing buildings/facilities & open space.

Relieving the suffering of cats and kittens in need of care and attention and providing and maintaining rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals.

AFFORDABLE CHILDCARE IN MELKSHAM, WILTSHIRE.

Weekly public worship open to all. Pastoral work including visiting the elderly, sick, bereaved and needy and so providing advice and information.Teaching Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups. Also provision of Toddler and Youth work with a Christian ethos.Promoting the whole vision of the church through activities and meetings with other local church groups.

To further such charitable purposes as the Trustees in their absolute discretion may from time to time decide including the preservation and protection of good health, the advancement of education and other charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Urchfont in Wiltshire, primarily but not exclusively by the provision of grants.

The promotion of efficiency of the Armed Forces of the Crown by the provision and support of facilities and activities for the well-being of Service (Officers Mess) personnel.
