Improves the conditions of the life of the inhabitants of Shrewton and the surrounding neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of a village hall, sports changing rooms and recreation ground.

In 2020 we did not organize any fundraising activities

Our main sources of charity income are: Christmas Float Collections at local supermarkets and around the streets, attendance and fairs and fetes with Tombolas and Lucky Dips, Easter Egg and other raffles, and donations from local businesses.

We run a local day centre for older pensioners, some have disabilities. We open 2 days per week, 10.00am-3.00pm and aim to provide a cheerful and constructive day for members to meet, take part in activities and have a good lunch. We depend on volunteers and have two part time organisers.

Raising money to support school activities and help provide the children with equipment, as well as organise and run some social events for the children.

The Lovett Foundation supports Children in Care and Care Leavers in, and around, Swindon, Bristol and Cardiff. We create relationships with the local council teams, in order to plan together how we can help financially. We are focussed on supporting young people in the transition from leaving foster care and education into independent living and gaining key skills to enter the job market.

Offers companionship, help & support to elderly residents of the Bourne Valley and other local areas as the trustees see fit who live alone or with relatives/carers in line with Social Services policy of keeping people in their own homes for as long as possible, thereby encouraging and enabling people to be as independent as possible. To provide respite for carers of the elderly.

Education/Training, Arts/Culture, Sport/Recrecation for children and young people, also provides buildings, facilities and open space for all ages

Support education

We build local networks for young women that have faced the life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer, in order to ensure they have the knowledge, friendship and support to move forward. Our focus is on providing comprehensive emotional and practical support where our holistic approach places these women at the centre of all we deliver.

A good neighbour service for Warminster and outlying villages by providing help care and transport for those in need.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals. To provide facilities which promote the practice or enjoyment of the art of music for recreation or other leisure time occupation.

General Chaitable PurposesOverseas aid and famine relief

Provides a large Hall with stage and Committee Room for the residents of Harnham. The Hall is in use seven days a week by regular users such as Keep Fit Classes, Gardening Society, U3A, etc, and numerous casual users for children's birthday parties, etc.

PROVISION OF MARTIAL ARTS TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IRRESPECTIVE OF GENDER, AGE, RACE OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS

The objective of the Charity is to support the Charitable activities of WCR Community Radio as well as other Charitable purposes in the West Wiltshire and East Somerset areas.

The principal charitable objective was to establish and maintain a school within the Protestant Principles of the Church of England. The school was sold and the charity is reviewing the possibility of making grants to other charities with similar objects.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the sport of canoeing and kayaking.

We meet every Sunday to worship God & preach the Gospel, and actively seek to serve the community. We employ a youth worker to serve the young people of the town. We provide toddler & mums groups twice a week, lunches for elderly folk once a month. We have a special service for elderly folk each month. We allow our premises to be used as a Child Contact Centre & by other charities regularly.

To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public by: Raising funds towards the cost of any repairs or restoration required to the fabric or structure of the Parish Church and Churchyard of Colerne; Organising volunteers to take part in related fund raising activities; Encouraging the attendance of people living within the Parish of Colerne at the services of the Church.

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical Parish of St Mary the Virgin, Upton Scudamore

The Trust prints and distributes a magazine, "The Overcomer", three times a year. In March July and November. The magazine is a Christian publication and is sent to readers in many parts of the world. We do not distribute funds or do any other charitable acts.

Share information and raise awareness and carry out training programmes involved in clinical, health and/or social care; supporting clinical, health and/or social care staff and research including making grants; work with industry, charities, universities, the health service and any other relevant bodies to assist the progress of scientific discoveries, clinical breakthroughs and new technologies.

Music Alive provides opportunities for and with people with disabilities to create and enjoy music in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. Our activities aim to support the long-term development of disabled people and encourage the integration of disabled and non-disabled people through music and social interaction.
