Fundraising for school

Improves the conditions of the life of the inhabitants of Shrewton and the surrounding neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of a village hall, sports changing rooms and recreation ground.

Perform annual Holy Week and Christmas concerts in Romsey Abbey, forming a part of the Abbey's seasonal religous activities.Perform a local summer concert.The choir also spends at least one weekend a year singing the services at a cathedral whilst the resident choir is on holiday.

The Lovett Foundation supports Children in Care and Care Leavers in, and around, Swindon, Bristol and Cardiff. We create relationships with the local council teams, in order to plan together how we can help financially. We are focussed on supporting young people in the transition from leaving foster care and education into independent living and gaining key skills to enter the job market.

We build local networks for young women that have faced the life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer, in order to ensure they have the knowledge, friendship and support to move forward. Our focus is on providing comprehensive emotional and practical support where our holistic approach places these women at the centre of all we deliver.

The Charity's current activity focusses upon the commissioning of new choral music to be sung in churches. The Trustees are developing plans to advance the education and development of young people both in the study and performance of choral music, as well for the general education and development of young people from socially or economically deprived communities.

Somer Valley Tennis is open to all and its aim is to make tennis accessible to all members of our community. We are a non profit making charity and are committed to running our club in a fair and equitable way. Collectively we take responsibility for all our members and endeavour to ensure a safe and fair playing environment where no one is discriminated against.

PROVISION OF MARTIAL ARTS TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY IRRESPECTIVE OF GENDER, AGE, RACE OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS

We run a local day centre for older pensioners, some have disabilities. We open 2 days per week, 10.00am-3.00pm and aim to provide a cheerful and constructive day for members to meet, take part in activities and have a good lunch. We depend on volunteers and have two part time organisers.

The promotion of sport and learning opportunities to young people in the Bath area and West Wiltshire.

The principal charitable objective was to establish and maintain a school within the Protestant Principles of the Church of England. The school was sold and the charity is reviewing the possibility of making grants to other charities with similar objects.

Support education

to manage the Village Hall according to its Constitution,ensuring that the Hall is properly maintained & financially viable to serve as an amenity principally for the residents of Coombe Bissett & Homington but also for outside agencies & individuals. The Hall is in frequent use throughout the year by our Village organisations & others for social functions,meetings,weddings,craft activities etc.

Make Memories Matter runs day centres for older adults, including those with dementia, providing social interaction, activities, exercise, and respite for carers. Based in the New Forest, our hubs promote wellbeing, independence, and community connection through person centred support and engagement.

Raising money each year for good causes and charities local to Romsey. Each year applications are made to ourselves, and donations and grants are given to those charities and good causes that meet our donations policy criteria.

We meet every Sunday to worship God & preach the Gospel, and actively seek to serve the community. We employ a youth worker to serve the young people of the town. We provide toddler & mums groups twice a week, lunches for elderly folk once a month. We have a special service for elderly folk each month. We allow our premises to be used as a Child Contact Centre & by other charities regularly.

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical Parish of St Mary the Virgin, Upton Scudamore

We provide bus services which are designed to provide the maximum benefit to those in need of them.The main beneficiaries are people who would otherwise not be able to access shops, the doctors surgery etc. These individuals' quality of life are enhanced by the reduction in isolation, ability to access shops and services, and improved health monitoring.

TEACHING ADULTS AND CHILDREN ALL ASPECTS OF THE PERFORMING ARTS AND FACILITATING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SAME TO THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND CHARITIES.
