Game On (Get the ball rolling)Ltd is a charity dedicated to enabling children to grow physically, socially and emotionally through team sport. We offer financial support to families to help keep their children healthy and active without the worry of the costs of doing so. We pay for club membership fees and the provision of sports kit and equipment for the child.

Provision of rooms to hire for various local community clubs, societies, charities and individuals for their use as a meeting place for classes, conferences, events and special occasion celebrations.

The provision and maintenance of the Shalbourne Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the area for meetings lectures and classes and fir other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants

Education and training. Awarding grants for clinical staff to attend courses which will increase their qualifications, or improve their medical understanding, or to attend conferences and training periods. Research. Providing funding towards research projects and helping staff attend specialist conferences worldwide to increase their knowledge and share their expertise.

Fundraising and Donations used to take Burn Injured Children on activity camps and family day trips

Promotion of an annual competitive festival of the arts for young people aged 18 years and under. The charity also promotes other competitive events during the year.

FUNDRAISING FOR THE RED OAKS PRIMARY SCHOOL, PROVIDING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL CHILDREN AND RESIDENTS

To provide assistance and support to Heddington C of E Primary School by fundraising activities. All monies received from the fundraising is used to provide additional educational products or activities for the school children aged between 4 and 11 years old.

Childrens Chance funds activities for children and young people, who, for financial reasons, would not otherwise have the chance. Examples are music and sports tuition. Grants are paid direct to the service provider (e.g. sports club or music teacher) not the child's family. The charity is run entirely by a single volunteer. Funds are raised from events, donations, individuals and organisations.

Village hall and sports recreational

Support of children at Brook Field School from both a curricular and non-curricular perspective by providing funds/resources for projects which benefit the children during their school lives.

Provisions of facilities, primarily premises, used by the Aldbourne Scouts and Guides groups.

Provision of activities for primary school children/young people outside LA Funding

We promote research, discussion, field studies, talks, publications, exhibitions, and other activities relating to the local history of the village and parish of Aldbourne and to further the education of the public of all ages in these respects. As part of this effort we manage the Aldbourne Heritage Centre.

We raise funds to provide our school with those extra items and equipment that cannot be provided through the school budget. Our aim is to enhance the school experience for all pupils at the school. We have provided an IT suite of laptop computers, adventure play equipment, playground signs and most recently decorated and equipped an international music room.

The objective of the PTA is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: 1) developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; 2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
