PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

Parent Teacher Association who advance the education of children within the school by developing effective relationships between the staff and parents. We organise and engage in activities such as school discos, school fetes and other fund raising events. We help to provide facilities and equipment which support the school and pupils within it.

Relief of poor in the parish of Corsham

To support cultural and artistic activities in Marlborough and the surrounding areas, for the benefit of the people of Marlborough and visitors to the town.

The Monday Club provides a weekly day centre for older people who would otherwise be socially isolated. There is transport provided (disabled access), refreshments, talks, activity sessions. exercises . Regular trips out.

Activities for young people in accordance to the rules & ethos of Girlguiding UK and the Scout Association.

Management of Sopworth Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of Sopworth and the neighbouring community.

To provide a venue for community gatherings

The charity serves the residents of Upavon, Rushall and Charlton St Peter by providing transport and, where necessary, escort for people attending the doctors'surgery, hospital, dental or chiropodist appointments. We also help where residents require assistance in filling in forms or making appointments. Costs are covered by voluntary donations from clients and grants from the parish councils.

Development of the courses for Christian Disciples that form the basis of the Genuine Imitation materials. Making financial donations to others in order to help in some small way those in poverty or under personal threat to their safety who are known to the Trust.

We are a School PTA with sole aim of raising funds to enhance the education and welfare of the children at West Tytherley Primary School. Throughout the year many and varied fundraising events are undertaken including an end of year BBQ and sponsored activity events involving the school attendees.
