Sea Scout group

The objects of the charity are ; To advance the education of the public in general and in particular the education of children and young people utilising the range of expertise and resources available at the Albert Dock;

An organisation for people of the 'third age' i.e. no longer working full time, nor with full time caring responsibilities. We pursue informal educational opportunities by means of interest groups (small groups of members who mutually inform each other on a topic of interest), speaker talks with outside speakers on a wide range of subjects and organise outings for members to places of interest.

The charity organises activities such as indoor & outdoor bowls, whist, bridge, drama, badminton, cycling, artists classes etc. The premises are also used by outside organisations for karate classes, keep fit, aerobics, children dance classes etc. Parties and receptions may also be held in the main hall.

The Charity makes grants for general charitable purposes, in accordance with its grant-making policy, to charities and not for profit organisations (for exclusively charitable purposes) based in the city of Liverpool and the Metropolitan Borough of the Wirral.

Our group promotes and preserves the tradition of brass band music combined with encouraging the development of youngsters both as musicians and good citizens. The band caters for children between the ages of 8-20, and currently has approx 85 members.

Grants to support Ministers and students in recognised ministerial training. Grants for projects which enable outreach and mission, especially to children and young people.Grants to enable individuals, particularly young adults, to access practical training and discipleship which equips them for Christian service.Purchases Bibles for children and young people.

General Scouting Activites

The principal activity of the charity is to provide grants to assist overseas students at higher education institutions, studying in the Diocese of Liverpool.

Wallasey Amateur Boxing Club provide boxing,general keep fit classes promoting health and wellbeing to both boys and girls in and around the Leasowe area

General charitable purposes

The trust was established to receive income from its investments and to make grants to needed causes as determined by a management committee. The Fund supports grants to assist individual girls and young women aged between 11 to 25 in training and education where it is recognised that there is a need for such financial assistance.

The Charity awards small pensions and grants, on a discretionary basis, to elderly people living in the Merseyside region who are in need, hardship or distress.

School PTA, raising money for school by holding fetes, sponsored events, school disco's & film nights, online lottery, recieve charitable donations.

We search for high risk vulnerable missing people

Payment of quarterly pensions to poor and/or aged seamen or their widows: and to widowswho are in need, hardship or distressPensioners must be resident in Merseyside

The Charity's objectives are to advance the Christian faith on the Wirral and other parts of the UK for the public benefit by providing regular worship via online platforms, raising awareness and understanding of religious belief and practices and carrying out religious devotional acts and outreach work. We provide emotional and spiritual support and assist financially for any charitable purposes.

Promotion of the arts, and in particular orchestral music by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

To help young people towards responsible adulthood, with good personal attributes and high standards of conduct, developing teamwork and respect for others, within an ethos which encourages ambition and aspiration. Opportunities for all young people, whatever their background, social standing, race, colour, creed or ability. May they become able members of society, whatever their future career.

FODS was formed by the governors of Dawpool C of E (Aided) Primary School to raise funds for the school. FODS raises 10% of all money required for the upkeep,maintenance and improvement of the school building and also raises money for awards,trips,social events,equipment etc etc that the school requests.
