Rehearsal and performance of classical music concerts.

Fundraising by a number of events. Support given to a wide range of Charities and other good causes - local, national and international - particularly relief to needy, youth development, community support and Rotary charities.

SCOUTING GROUP

FODS was formed by the governors of Dawpool C of E (Aided) Primary School to raise funds for the school. FODS raises 10% of all money required for the upkeep,maintenance and improvement of the school building and also raises money for awards,trips,social events,equipment etc etc that the school requests.

Management of the buildings and facilities of the community centre to enable the provision of sports, arts, educational and social activities by and for the community. Activities include: Community Theatre, Snooker, Tennis, Crown Green Bowls, Junior Dance & Drama, Karate, Yoga, Meetings, Parties and Social Events.

Scouting Activities,

An equine and rural charity consisting of a small team of volunteers which provides crime prevention advice, security marking of tack, equipment and vehicles,identification of loose and fly grazing equines,a database, messaging system and social media groups alert the public to news and pertinent information,welfare issues and delivering rural education across the 6 counties of North Wales.

Activities to protect and enhance the enviroment and particularly the gardens and public spaces in Hoylake and Meols

Training in the art of church bell ringing.Training in church bell maintenance.Arranging and running practice meetings for church bell ringers.Arranging and running church bell ringing competitions.Arranging church bell ringing for special events and commemorations.Providing grants towards the preservation, restoration, and augmentation of church bells and their fittings.

The provision of scouting activities aimed at personal, social, spiritual and physical development of young people irrespective of sex, race or disability.

Encourage the breeding, maintenance & improvement of breed standards for Holstein cattle & the promotion of show, sales, other events, production & circulation of publicity material & information to advance the education of the public in the knowledge of Holstein Cattle. Encourage & educate young people by offering of scholarships & bursaries.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Our rehearsal and concerts aim to educate members and audiences in their knowledge and appreciation of classical music. No auditions are held. Activities: 2 concerts per year (November and April) using its choir and a professional orchestra and soloists. It is the only provider of live classical music in the borough and always provides specific information in its own extensive programme notes.

A Parent Teacher Association which is fund raising mostly through social events to raise funds for additional resources for the children of Gayton Primary School

The Wallasey G. H. Peers was est 1877. Club membership is male & female from 17 yrs to some in their eighties. There are out-door bowls April/Oct for those unable to play. There are seats in the extensive rose garden for them to watch & enjoy refreshments, snooker (4 tables) is available 12 months, with bridge played Mon-Wed-Fri. Social afternoon, last Fri of every month, with tea & cakes.

The orchestra meets regularly, every week during school term time, to give the opportunity for adults and children to play a musical instrument with others in an orchestral setting. Any person is welcome of any age and of any standard with any instrument. At least two concerts are given by the orchestra in a year. Concerts for charity have been given.

Raising of finances to provide enhancements to the environment and learning experience of the pupils of Brookdale primary school. Supporting community embracing events involving the school.

PROMOTING THE EDUCATION AT CALDAY GRANGE GRAMMAR SCHOOL

The promotion & facilitation of Scouting Activities for young people aged from 6 years to 14 years.

Providing and coordinating facilities by way of financial support and volunteer helpers assistance to enable persons with learning difficulties and/or special needs to enjoy the benefits of horse riding.

Raises funds to enhance facilities provided at Heygarth Primary School

Egan Road Church seeks to be a neighbourhood centre with a vision to make people "Known, Loved and a part of Community". We offer weekly groups for a range of people including: Tots stay-and-play for 0-5s and their carers, Youth Club weekly session for 11-18, Worship Service Sundays, Community Meals every other Sunday. Other coffee mornings, community meals and events vary regularly.
