Desire & Inspire has been set up to help support disabled young people/ adults from exclusion back into inclusion by building friendships, long lasting relationships thus creating independence & empowerment. We provide clubs, activities & events for young disabled young people & adults, building confidence, striving to push societies boundaries & increasing inclusion within communities.

In the interests of the protection and conservation of the environment of Merseyside and the promotion of wider sustainability issues, MET engages in the following activities: organising events, meetings, educational opportunities, fundraising, awarding grants, provision of knowledge and expertise and working in partnership with other organisations.

Provision of ministerial funding

Women and Digital Inclusion (WODIN) established in 2020 as a CIC now a charity, we predominantly but not exclusively promote the welfare of Black migrant women in Merseyside. We work with migrant women and families, many first-generation immigrants, facing poverty, destitution, poor mental and physical health. We provide a space for them to be brave, vulnerable and learn digital skills.

To further the religious education and other charitable work of the Church of England carried out in the parish by grants and donations to relevant individuals and organisations.

We provide services, advice and support to the community/regions in all aspects of Specific Learning Difficluties.

The K Woods Foundation is a Wirral based Charity providing support to individuals living with Dementia, and their carers. We provide a drop-in social support group, this is our ACES Group. The group provide free activity and cognitive engagement and support for both the individual with dementia, and their carers. Through this service we can assess the provision of short respite breaks if required.

To act as an umbrella group for the preservation of the habitat and wildlife of the Mersey Estuary.Education of the general public towards our aims.

The Wirral SEN Parent Partnership is an information, support and advice service for parents/carers of children with special educational needs and professionals working to support those needs.

The preservation and restoration of Perch Rock Lighthouse

Activities include the provision of art therapy workshops

The Cupalt Foundation raises funds for the prevention or relief of poverty and deprivation (and for general charitable purposes) for the benefit of humankind. It makes grants to other charitable organisations to facilitate those charities to achieve their own charitable purposes, and thereby advance the objects of The Cupalt Foundation. The Foundation operates on the Wirral.

To raise funds in support of pupils at Devonshire Park Primary School

Wirral Footpaths and Open Spaces Preservation Society is concerned with the preservation, maintenance, defence and development of the rights of the public to the use and enjoyment of public highways, footpaths, bridleways, byways and other rights of way, commons, open spaces, waste lands and roadside slips in the Hundred of Wirral, free from obstruction, nuisance and annoyance.

The Trustees make grants for the following:Research into IVF treatment.Medical treatment for the underprivileged which the NHS is unable to deliver.Relief of homelessness and the effects of old age.

Training and Education

The Charity?s objects are to advance education and provide supported accommodation and care were needed to relieve need amongst the people of Merseyside and surrounding areas through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, moral and spiritual capabilities that they grow full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved..

1. We inform the public about changes, development in local area - especially Heritage matters. 2. We monitor the local authority planning applications we deem such action appropriate. 3. We encourage members to be aware of local Heritage by speakers with professional knowledge & by excursions. 4. We seek to maintain pride in our local area by (a) campaigns which rectify eg "eye-sores" & abandoned

Advice and support for vunerable people within the community, sports and recreational activities for young people, providing a place of worship for the local community. Operating a feeding initiative for disadvantaged people including the homeless. Offering job search support and appropriate advocacy. Demonstrating practically and presenting effectivly the love of God.

Central Park

Making monetary grants to or on behalf of our disabled members and their families according to our constitution. This is limited to the Wirral area.

Cornerstone Church Wirral promotes the Christian faith across Wirral, Merseyside and advances the gospel of Jesus Christ; planting churches through the development of Gospel Communities, training men and women for church leadership and running activities open to our community such as toddler groups and youth groups.

Public Recreation and Childrens Play
