We work with parents and other adults who have suffered the traumatising effects of war, torture and displacement. Through our work with refugees and people seeking asylum, we seek to improve their life chances and their mental health and wellbeing. We provide therapy, often with horticulture. We also offer practical support with benefits, education and housing matters.

Promotion of community participation in sport through providing facilities for the playing of rugby union, football, cricket and other sports.Provision of volunteer led coaching in relation the above sports and organisation and management of teams to support participation.

The charity awards grants to those organisations in the North West of England who the late Doreen Greenlees wished to benefit via the trust contained in her will. This includes organisations committed to the welfare of animals, the maintenance of the fabric of and structural alterations and additions to buildings used for Christian worship and alleviating poverty through Christian social welfare.

The charity provides services and facilities to support blind and partially sighted people in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. These include a resource centre, creative and social activities, training courses, an outreach support service.

Our services help to keep Chinese Elders in independent living as long as possible. We provide Domiciliary Care and Respite Services , Personal Wellbeing Services, a pre and post diagnostic dementia support service. Our Evergreen Club provides health talks including Covid related and various activities which reduce social isolation, loneliness and help to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

For the public benefit the relief of sickness in persons suffering from mentally related illness or stress; the provision of therapy and counselling services in such ways as may be thought fit;The advancement of education; this may include support of those wishing to become counsellors or therapists, as well as the provision of parenting and other general personal development training,

Provision of education together with training in the Christian faith and the building of Christian character and leadership. Kingsmead School aims to enable individual members of the school to develop every gift and ability to the full, and to realise their true potential in a supportive and effective Christian community, whatever their basic abilities may be.

Providing training and educational resources for young people and people from disadvantaged groups.

The Greenhouse Project exists to enable children, young people, their families and communities to access opportunities that support their creative development, understanding and celebration of diversity. It delivers a programme of media, performance and visual arts workshops, activities and events, educational outreach, Early Years Education and a Play Days Out of School hours initiative.

To restore and bring back into public service the steam tug/passenger tender "Daniel Adamson" built at Tranmere in 1903.

We provide mental health services through our mental health crisis cafe. We counsell and provide mental health services to patients throughout Cheshire West and Chester/Cheshire East/Wirral and Merseyside.

Merseyside Jewish Community Care aims to provide a comprehensive welfare service for Jewish individuals and families in Merseyside, and organisations and professionals who interact with the Community.

To benefit the residents of Beechwood , without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other options by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary & other organisations in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation, leisure with the objective of improving the lives of residents.

MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF HESWALL HALL

To advance, in a manner which the trustees see fit, the charitable objects of The National Museums and Galleries on Merseyside (NMGM), and to advance the education of the public throughout the world in any manner conducive to, and compatible with the charitable objects of NMGM, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, in particular by widening participation in charitable education.

Various tasks and facilities pertaining to the collection, verification, management, storage and dissemination of biological/biodiversity data within the Cheshire region, including training in the identification of species, information on recording via a website which also delivers data and species mapping to the public and the education sector and beyond.

To provide emotional support to people who have been affected by cancer. We offer a variety of services including cancer specific groups, complimentary therapies, counselling, one to one work and welfare benefits advice. Tai Chi and the 'Feel Good Factor' a programme consisting of Art and Music Therapy and Creative Writing, have been introduced recently.

Providing supported housing to people with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people in the Greater Merseyside area.
