The Charity is an amateur wind-band. The objective of the Charity is (as recorded in the constitution) is to advance the education of the public in the art of music and in particular band music by the presentation of concerts to which members of the public have access.

The object of the association is to advance the education of the pupils at both Wescott Infant and Westende Junior schools by providing facilities or equipment for education which is not provided for by the local authority.

We are a mixed amateur Choir which meets weekly and gives concerts throughout the year. The main objective is to provide a local social service for Choir Members but also, from our concerts, we raise money for other Charities both Local and National.

To provide relief and support for persons resident in the parish of St Mary the virgin, Henley-On-Thames and the surrounding area who are in need, hardship or distress.

To raise funds for the school, to enable them to purchase things to benefit the children which the school would not otherwise be able to afford within their budget. This is predominantly done by running events for children, parents & staff to enjoy.

Raising money by parents and friends of Waverley school for expenditure by the school.

The charity has been established for general charitable purposes, with particular emphasis on the protection of animals.

To advance the Islamic faith in Wokingham in accordance with the statement of faith, for the benefit of the public, through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature on the Islamic faith to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

A sum up to 25% of annual income may be dispensed for the general purposes of the school. The residual income is to provide awards of scholarships, exhibitions & financial assistance to beneficiaries who are persons of either sex under the age of 25 years and who are, or at any time have been, in attendance at the school and who, in the opinion of the trustees, are in need of financial assistance.

We operate a packed lunch delivery service to children during the school holidays. We deliver during school holiday time to families in Woodley (RG5) who are having a difficult time financially, or in other ways. We also deliver activity packs, toiletry/hygiene parcels and food packages when possible.
